China "Sought To Influence" 2020 US Election, Director Of National Intelligence Assesses

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe assessed that China interfered in the 2020 federal elections, according to a letter transmitted to Congress.

In the letter (pdf), Ratcliffe alleges that intelligence about China’s election interference was suppressed by management at the CIA, which pressured analysts to withdraw their support for the view.

Citing a report by the Intelligence Community’s analytic ombudsman Barry Zulauf, the director of national intelligence said that some analysts were reluctant to describe China’s actions as election interference because they disagreed with the policies of President Donald Trump.

Ministers have been warned that millions of people are likely to begin ignoring Covid restrictions once they have been vaccinated.

Government scientists are concerned that those who receive jabs are likely to relax their attitude towards social distancing and lockdown rules, according to papers seen by The Telegraph.

Minutes of meetings held by the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) cite a survey which says that 29 per cent of people will adhere to restrictions less strictly once they have had a vaccine, while 11 per cent will "probably no longer follow the rules".

Papers released by Sage reveal concerns that changes in the behaviour of those who get the jab could more than "offset" the benefits of the vaccination programme over the next few months.

Sage scientists have urged ministers to begin a public awareness campaign to warn of the need to follow restrictions even once people have been vaccinated, and suggested that they must be prepared to reintroduce stricter measures if adherence falls as more people are vaccinated.

It came as ministers announced on Monday that more than four million people have now had a Covid vaccine. However, 37,475 patients are in hospital with the virus – the highest figure on record – with 599 more deaths.

Well we ALL know Irish ancestry will see Biden side with ROI against UK, both he and Pelosi,annd other Democrats detest Britain. In similar vein to Barack "back of the Queue" Obama.

You will recall that it has been the Republicans who have been keen to get a FTA with UK, not the Democrats who support the EU.

Biden is up to his eyeballs in Chinese hush money so the Chinese raping of US IP will continue apace, as will their hollowing out of the US economy and it's traditional values - bad news for all of the world a Communist China as global policeman!!

Biden will no doubt initiate a war in some form with Russia within 12-18months(after 18 months he would have been pensioned off)

Mixed feelings.

Am okay with "shorting" to hedge an underlying position, eg Buying a Covered Put/Selling Covered Call..but am against shorting where it is to secure a synthetic position outright absent holding the underlying in any form.
