Woody can have his kitchen if he wants. I don't have a problem with Neil Woodford. I'm not bitter towards him in anyway. I think he has a good eye for stocks and if I could invest with him going forward I would seriously consider it. The issue with Woodford was the structure of the WEI, its size of assets under management and the hubris that was circling in the association with HL. Most investors were also naive and failed to understand the investment thesis with the patience that needed. Kent County Council were one of the biggest bunch of bozos in the whole fiasco.

In the Roman days gladiators were just above prostitutes in the order of society yet they were the ones providing the entertainment service at the Colosseum.

With the wages current footballers get it makes you wonder who is serving who ATM.

Liverpool can be the most successful team in the world. It doesn't need a squad of multi-millionaires to achieve that when society is mature and wise enough to value its service correctly against other things in life.

No one is questioning whether the better players get better paid, what is questioned is its reward relative to other things in life.

Minerve, why dont you support Marine then. Therse no point in supporting Liverpool then moaning about opportunity of outcome is there. It's not limited to Sport either, inequality exists in every field, Music literature science business.....you name 10% of the players recieve 80% of the pot. Unless you have actually had exposure to highly competitive elite level sport you cant have a valid opinion however, I do accept there are anomalies. Take HW boxing, as a division it is the highest paid but the skill set required to succeed is much much lower because there is less competition. The highest paid division should be welter or possibly supermiddle.

We know who Kettley is. He has many aliases on ADVFN. Certainly a screw loose. Probably someone stuck in twisted adolescence or a life serial loser and/or low achiever whose resentment of those more successful has driven him to hate.
