18/12/2020 10:14 | Scruff Yes, I’m a LFC supporter but not as tribal as some. One of my brokers had a directors box at Old Trafford so I have actually seen as many live Man U matches as LFC ones. In fact I have watched Stoke City more than any other team because my dad supports Stoke. | minerve 2

18/12/2020 07:51 | EXCLUSIVE: "Sheer scale of EU's unlevel playing field beggars belief"Revealed: EU's trade surplus with UK tops £1 TRILLION in 20 years from year 2000?© Brexit Facts4EU.Org 2020 - click to enlargeAs a 'trade deal' nears agreement, Facts4EU.Org shows the slope of the ground it will stand onIn the 20 years to 2019, the EU27's SURPLUS in its trade in goods with the UK surpassed the £1 trillion mark. That's one TRILLION. Pounds, not Euros.Strangely, no-one from the EU nor from the mainstream media has mentioned this.Ahead of the 'trade deal' expected to be agreed by the end of this weekend, Brexit Facts4EU.Org analyses the latest trade figures to bring MPs and the public the astonishing magnitude of the EU's unlevel playing field.BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARYEU member states' trade in goods with the UK in the last 20 years, 2000 - 2019Exports to the UK: £3,836,536 million (£3.8 trillion)Imports from the UK: £2,774,495 million (£2.8 trillion)Trade surplus with UK: £1,060,606 million (£1 trillion)?© Brexit Facts4EU.Org - click to enlarge[Sources: House of Commons Library and ONS, 10 Nov 2020]The sheer scale of the EU's unlevel playing field beggars beliefIn the past 20 years, the EU countries' goods exports to the UK were £1,060,606,000,000 more than their goods imports from the UK.This is the playing field on which the EU has spent the last four-and-a-half years imposing draconian terms on the UK and claiming that the UK must not be allowed to "threaten the integrity of the Single Market with unfair competition".It beggars belief that it is the EU which has acted like this, when in fact it is the UK that has every right to demand stiff trading terms from the EU, not the other way around. The smoking gunWriting for Facts4EU.Org earlier this month, in a two-part article here and her | xxxxxy

18/12/2020 05:54 | Minnie Thought you were LFC. Good win for them night before - although Jose reckons spurs were the best team of course. We were ok last night but not a great game imo. Defence doesnt inspire confidence and midfield needs a power booster. Good comment on wife's f/b. Why do the french think all the fish in the channel are theirs and all the people are ours | scruff1
18/12/2020 00:50 | Misterbluesky, Post 5187:No more ICE cars for sale from 2030 Not True, I think Boris refers to New Cars and even then can't see it happening. Biggest polluters are lorries. I have mixed feelings as I love the purring of the six or eight cylinder car. The top of the range straight six have Bose or Harman Kardon sound systems but why? The best sound comes from the Engine. Nothing better than summertime having the roof down, wind in your hair, sound system off and just listening to the perfect sound from the Engine. :) Classic cars will be with us for many many years, whether they prohibit new cars or not. | newbank

17/12/2020 22:24 | Hospitals need to have windows that can be opened once more, and opened easily so that fresh air can flow through wards, instead of air conditioning. May well reduce hospital acquired COVID infections. All changed following the oil crisis of 1973 and the need to limit heat losses from buildings. | cheshire pete
