13/11/2020 13:01 | maxk13 Nov '20 - 12:07 - 320142 of 320147 Live Politics latest news: Brussels claims Cummings' going will result in Brexit U-turn The question is, who planted that story and why? Quite likely it was Cummings himself. It would be absurd to take it at face value. | grahamite2
13/11/2020 12:59 | Cummings or going?: Dominic Cummings will leave his position at the heart of Downing Street when Brexit is done at the end of the year. Cummings told the BBC that his position had not changed since January when he said he wanted to be largely redundant by the end of 2020. As with anything related to Cummings, this story has blown up in the Press, but his own departure is something Cummings has mentioned in the past so hardly the bombshell scoop the media attention would have you believe. | k38
13/11/2020 12:51 | "Dominic Cummings' departure will pave the way for Boris Johnson to concede in Brexit talks and "accept EU conditions", a senior MEP has said. ...Well, a good way for Boris to kill conservatives chances for reelection.Go for it Boris but conservatives will not see power for the next 12 years.. | k38

13/11/2020 12:32 | You can't be surprised max. It is all a question of face saving - find the right words. I was wondering about taking the profits on GBP today but will keep them running for an agreement. Some risk - but always risk. | alphorn

13/11/2020 12:07 | They extended them "again". Still ongoing and will until they have to agree. Those 5 star hotels and travel bonuses are too nice to agree too quickly! Have to say I don't like the fact that Antonio is selling chunks of his holding at half their real value. Surely the man is not in dire need of cash on his salary... | crazi
13/11/2020 12:05 | Redwoods posts seem panicky of late. These days, like Jacob Rees Mogg, he sees himself as a money man. My guess is that he is short the market. We experienced investors can spot the signs. Bucket loads has been lost this week by shorters because of vaccine hopes, and a Brexit deal would be the last straw. Poor sods, Chrispin Odey, Boris's financial backer is usually a big short man also. He has lost shed loads in recent times. Oh dear, we hate to see these snake oil salesmen suffer, they delude themselves that they are smart money. | careful
13/11/2020 11:54 | Anyone know if any brexit talks are actually happening or when they’re planned? | trikytree

13/11/2020 11:17 | Hoping they are closing in on a Brexit deal. It would be a good end to a great week. Boris and his dysfunctional team must get this right. | careful

13/11/2020 11:15 | Mr Biden is now projected to have won Arizona, extending his lead by 11 electoral college votes to a total of 290, with Mr Trump on 217. It is the first time the state has voted Democrat since 1996. This is what happens when you let right-wing nutters in charge, people eventually wise-up and you get crushed. | minerve 2
13/11/2020 11:08 | Furlough extended until March, vaccine available in December, everyone back to work by April, Brexit deal done because EU will cave, Lloyd's 70p | gaffer73
