In Nevada they think votes were cast by people not living in the state. There are also in some states issues about delivery and dates of postal votes.This confirms the likelihood of a month of rallies and court cases to seek to reverse Mr Biden's current lead prior to certification of the vote. It is most important only valid votes are counted.

mr.elbee - yes - I'm saying this should be just the start of the share price recovery (for all banks). But they will need stock for massive Buys from Hedge funds and Pension Funds so will shake hard at times to get some people to sell their holdings... Patience... don't watch too much cause they will tempt you to sell...

Pfizer says an early analysis of its vaccine data suggests the shots may be 90 per cent effective at preventing Covid-19, indicating the company is on track later this month to file an emergency use application with US regulators.

Last week Kate Bingham, chairman of the Government's vaccine task force, said 10 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine could potentially be available by January.

In the UK, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency will need to evaluate the safety of the vaccines before they are given the green light.

Today's announcement doesn't mean a vaccine is imminent: this interim analysis, from an independent data monitoring board, looked at 94 infections recorded so far in a study that has enrolled nearly 44,000 people in the US and five other countries.

Pfizer Inc. did not provide any more details about those cases, and cautioned the initial protection rate might change by the time the study ends. Even revealing such early data is highly unusual.

Dr Bill Gruber, Pfizer's senior vice president of clinical development said: "We're in a position potentially to be able to offer some hope. We're very encouraged."

It's the fact there IS vaccine news as opposed to possibly one at some point.

Likely vaccinate healthcare staff and then the vunerable. Should relieve some pressure on the NHS and allow restrictions to be lifted.
