19/7/2020 12:46 | Lloyd's net balance sheet (book) value is £47 billion. There are 70 billion shares in issue. Therefore net assets per share are 67p. But the current share price is only 30p. Hence the shares are trading at 0.44x book value. If the share price was 67p they would be trading at exactly book value. If the share price was £1.35 they would be trading at 2 x book value etc. | dexdringle

19/7/2020 12:26 | Retired car owners shouldnt be on the roads at wkends before 10am of a morning and between 4 & 6 of an evening. They also need to appreciate that it's the lycra clad wkend cyclists who are paying their state fkin pension & give them some slack. The same goes for doctors appointments during these hours. | utrickytrees
19/7/2020 12:20 | I've been cycling for years, well before the lycra newbie set came along, pair of joggers and t shirt for me. Had a knee operation years ago and surgeon said get a bike, never looked back, just go out twice a week or so and love it now. | mikemichael2

19/7/2020 11:57 | I have no problem with families/couples cycling 'old style'. It is these new age cyclists that wind me up. | minerve 2
19/7/2020 11:56 | Exactly. So if cars use them, why not bikes? | icejelly
