Greta-virus latest."Miss I want you to panic" even with her fake news of her effected by the virus, must be feeling very happy about the virus and the effects it has on environment.. People lock themselves indoors, no sports, min cars on the road, min planes and ships, no emissions and no fishing means fish recovery. I guess she will be happy if this continues for ever and humans go back to the stone age life stile....

makes sense, one thing, is divi % tied in some way to share price , seems to move quite a lot, have seen it as high as 11% but that was the s.P was at its lowest

They won't pull the final predicted divi, I suspect they may reduce forward interim

think we will know very soon if they are going to pull the Divi or not, read earlier that the Banks were well prepared for this sort of thing to occur, so it might be all ok regarding Dividend, but totally understand if they feel they need to pull it, i still feel the drop is purely market sentiment. As the mood changes , then lets see what happens.

Yes mr.e

Very iffy tests. However there is better kit being tested at this moment, far more accurate (supposedly)

Alp, know what you mean, need serious amounts of sifting, end up just digging about for myself, all i have found has made me comfortable with my position, just gonna leave it to it now, as i say, no interest in selling, happy with letting it do what it does.....

A lot of 'bus stops' this summer for Lloyds. Make the right decisions and make a small fortune.

Smartypants,

You posted: Conte: Hard, severe recession to hit Europe over coronavirus (UK is still in it)
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said on Thursday that the coronavirus pandemic will cause a "hard and severe" recession that will affect the whole Europe.

I agree, I have family who live in Europe and am in touch with them on a daily basis and yes, I can see the price of Lloyds is in the 30’s.

UI - pleased to hear that.

aljm - they do if you sift through. IMO in a nutshell Lloyds is joined at the hip with the UK domestic economy. Once you have a view of that you have a good idea of Lloyds.

UI - do you only want to read positive posts? Lloyds has been a disaster for any long term holder. I, for one, like to read both positive and negative posts.

Alphorn, I agree and that’s why I posted: Many investors like to see positive and balanced negative comments in order to get an idea from other investors, who have a legitimate interest in the Company, what they think.

I invite negative comments providing they are legitimate and balanced.
