Hey Minnie, just think, if you survive this, you'll be able to add coronavirus to your wish list for the elderly. Happy days, m8.

Now then, boys and girls: how much more dire can the news become?

We know, already, that the end of the world is nigh.

We know what governments are doing to mitigate the financial harm.

We haven't yet heard of any major failures, so that may yet come to pass, but any less than bad news, or even no real news, might even be considered to be good news by the market.

Own up, who's bought any LLOYDs today?

After all this mess is over we are going to be the strongest economy in Europe thanks to Boris and the way he is controlling the virus and economy. Keep the numbers low..If you don't listen and follow the advice of the government you are taking risks against your life and the lifes of your love ones..

We are one of the low effected countries in Europe and the last. From their action we benefit this well. That's why boris does not over act to take extreme measures.. on the other hand...Our actions make no difference to them.

Get Brexit done.

I wonder how many foreign nurses have left this country during the Brexit debacle?

Idiots. They will be the downfall of all of us.

M2No matter what early actions would have taken by Boris, no way to stop the virus and for that reason i don't agree and here is my reason.. we have being very lucky and the virus attacks us later than others so we are in a better position to take the correct actions without panic. Don't forget is not all about numbers, deaths anymore but the whole economy of this country.

We have had more deaths than recovories from cv19 here in the uk. Recoveries will lag a little behind as it takes more time to recover from it than die. Wordometer shows some good stats updated from WHO. One thing it shows is how many in each country are critical. A downturn in this number might indicate a turning point. Less new critical cases ect would indicate a drop in real new cv19 infections. The listed infected are only out of people tested, not the whole population. Whereas critical conditions is truely from the whole population.( assuming that we are helping them) Currently 20.

"hopefully" is REALLY good projective computer modelling of the relevant medical science ,dont you think, especially as it is probably based on completely false medical assumptions about the way the disease is transmitted.?

Italy transmits completely differently from the UK because mama lives at home and our oldies are on their own...but,hey! let's not let that get in the way of us talking more bilge and comparing Italy with the UK...for God's sake!

Not a clue..any of them..in the UK

elsewhere they are fine..here it is the dark ages.

She noted that the millennial generation, which encompasses people between the

ages of 25 and 39, could unknowingly be COVID-19 carriers, creating a situation in

which the illness can easily pass on to older Americans. She stressed that the

data is still developing and that there has been "no significant mortality in the

children."

Hello?

Short-selling.....

Bring in the tick-up rule at least FFS.

Some hedge-funds will be making billions most likely.

And they will be adored when their owners get involved in philanthropic activity in the future.

In my world they would be shot, through the head.
