Watching this incompetent government full of over promoted blowhards trying to deliver radical change is comical. I need another box of popcorn already. 🍿

Maybe. But I kind of guess that if I voted to Remain there still is a part of my mind that is fully functional, which is more than I can say for you old boy! ;)

It is easy for politicians to accuse the Civil Service of getting in the way of their brilliant and ground breaking initiatives.

There is a minor difficulty in all this. Administrators at all levels are well used to each new government coming to the table with ambitions, Machiavellian habits and the burden of many promises made to the electorate.

Which are likely to conflict with actually running the country in some sort of moderately efficient way.

Whatever Rutnam's strengths or weaknesses as PS, I'm inclined to think he and the FDS have got lawyered up, and presented to them enough evidence to 'do a job on Patel' and quite possibly Johnson.

His announcement to the media was clinical and whilst it might be a ploy to get behinds twitching in Number 10 that isn't my take.

He's turned down a big pay off and probably a shoe in to some sort of well paid high profile job in order to do this. That requires a bit of spine. I figure they have the evidence to make this stick.

What a role model this lady is, imagine telling your kids "study hard, be smart, treat people well" and then having to explain why incompetents get promoted to one of the top jobs in government and their boss gladly endorses them.

Really sad state of affairs, Tory or not, surely this should ring alarms.

Talking about emotions: I do recall the first threat of aggression was from you Jacko and threatening to use your old baseball bat. LOL

Then I had some disgraceful posts towards me that really should have been referred to the police.

Emotions drive the whole Brexit game. There is nothing logical to Brexit whatsoever unless you like making life difficult for yourselves and others - but then again that would generally go against all logic.

Jacko

Emotions or not I can still place the facts and rationale in our discussions and disagreements and you fail to create any relevant return on those and go back to my investments with Woodford, Capita and PFG.
