Suggestion that poster had a selective memory - Strikes in the 70s were ceaseless - need to do your history properly - it did not start in the year 2000.
What u don't know aint necessarily wrong - but u should try harder.

I never did fly a Cessna, learnt on the PA28 so after I "cracked" landing, it was just normal for me.

g2I agree.. Farage did his bit and stand down in a lot of seats to protect Brexit. Boris will get his majority and must deliver. But... Farage will be there to make sure of that.

AZ, I found the low winged too wobbly in ground effect, going onto a high wing cessna made flying much easier for me. Went to Florida and got the licence in 18 days, mind you i knew all the theory which helped.

k38 - I was reading an article about "the 49 seats where The Brexit Party is splitting the vote." For instance, "in Hartlepool, where Brexit Party chairman Richard Tice is the candidate, the party is on third place on 22 per cent compared to Labour on 39 per cent and the Conservatives on 31 per cent." Implication - simple solution, Brexit Party stands down, Conservatives get 53% and win.

But this overlooks the certain fact that there are an awful lot of people who might consider voting TBP but who would never vote Conservative in a million years.

I am not a Boris fan, I would have rather seen Gove as leader, a far more clever man but unfortunately he wasn't popular with the people.

Gee, I wonder why!

Did you hear Gove on R4 this morning? He is the gold standard of the slimy politician, dishonest, doesn't answer questions, platitudes all day.

If he's so clever, how come he's not clever enough to make people like or trust him?

As well as this one.
