BREXIT FACTS4EU.ORG SUMMARY
Trading with the EU? No membership of anything is required

179 states around the world sell into the EU’s Single Market

They are not members of the Single Market but they sell successfully to the EU
They are not members of the Customs Union but they sell successfully to the EU
They are not members of the EEA or EFTA but they sell successfully to the EU
They have control of their borders, their money, and their laws, and yet they sell successfully to the EU
And the only country in the top 40 with a full, ratified Free Trade Agreement is South Korea

© Brexit Facts4EU.Org - click for full-size version

Who are these countries which trade successfully with the EU?
Brexit Facts4EU.Org obtained the EU’s official data for all the goods bought by EU28 member states from around the world. We then excluded all the world’s states on the EU’s list which have any connection with the EU’s members. For example we excluded the Falkland Islands, Bermuda, French & Dutch island states, etc.

We then excluded all countries which are members of the EEA or EFTA, and further excluded countries with complicated arrangements with the EU such as Turkey and Switzerland.

We ended up with a list of 179 states, all of whom trade with the EU

They not only “have access to the Single Market”, they sold into it to the tune of nearly £1.5 TRILLION pounds last year.

Over 85% of sales into the EU in 2018 came from countries with no membership of the Single Market, Customs Union, EEA, EFTA, or anything else which Remain MPs might be able to think of.

Almost 50% of what EU28 countries bought last year came from just 3 countries: China, the USA, and Russia. The EU does not have a free trade agreement with any of them.

So what's the Chancellor's view on this?
Today the Chancellor, arch-Remoaner Philip Hammond, will give a speech to the arch-Remoaning CBI. In it he will say:

“To advocate for no deal is to hijack the result of the referendum and in doing so knowingly to inflict damage on our economy and our living standards.”
We hope the Chancellor will also quote the official facts above, which come from the EU itself.

OBSERVATIONS
We would simply like to ask the Chancellor to explain how it is that the vast bulk of sales into the EU come from countries with no Single Market membership, no Customs Union membership, no EEA or EFTA membership – and of course no EU membership.

We would go on to ask him to explain the fact that only one country out of the top 40 which sells into the EU has a fully-ratified trade deal (South Korea).

We might then even suggest he puts us on the payroll of the Treasury Dept, with nice salaries, London weighting allowances, and Government pensions.

As this is unlikely to happen, we welcome any public donations to help to keep us churning out great facts like those above. Quick and secure payment methods are below.

The Conservative brand, the Conservative name is now toxic among conservative people.

It isn’t just about May.

You are never going to win a general election again.

Ginty…. too extreme reading of the situation. Cons must not put the worst Remoaners in Cabinet positions. We need direct talking charisma in the media, Boris, Farage (why not, he might go for something – trade with other countries? ), Patel, Redwood for Chancellor, Baker, IDS – -not the Gove backstabbing types. Out of EU, trade deals struck, new arrangements with other countries, discussions with EU- but no white flag waving. Fresh faces to NHS, Military, Foreign office. It will take time to clean out the stain of May’s intolerable activities – but it can be done.

Will there be exit polls?

No - the rest of the EU will be voting over the next few days. It is a criminal offence for any country in the EU to publish exit polls, or any information about how people have voted during the election, before 22:00 BST on Sunday 26 May.
