I see that the French gov are complaining of a coup by the Dutch after the Dutch bought a similar stake to the French in KLM-Air France. Happy days are back again...tralala. Won't be long before the whole sorry mess collapses around their ears. They'll never get on, and even less likely to do so now they've been walked into the EU marriage in its present form. Madness, utter madness.

Hullo, where's Vermin today. Hope he's not unwell.

Surely a multiple occupancy property which uses more council services than a single occupancy property should pay more for the services used regardless of the size of the respective properties or any other factors.

The "Pole Tax" was merely a Tory con job to avoid raising property Rateable Values, in the 'guise' of spreading the fiscal load.

g2If I remember correctly at that time the whole population was against. Maybe the young thugs as you call them start the movement but they knew what they wanted. Today's young thugs are lost with the BBCs & Brussels propaganda tsunami.

On the contrary Graham, most "thugs" as you put it, will either not be interested in Politics & Economics or they'll be the moronic types who hate foreigners and want a square go with anyone and everyone, as such I think you'll find that certain areas of England will indeed see some violence, especially if Yaxley Lennon has anything to do with it.......

I wonder if Brexit will become another poll tax situation..

No it won't. The people who rioted over the poll tax were young thugs. These days the young thugs are mainly remoaners.

It doesn't happen often but today's performance it's about Yesterday's U-turn of TMs decision to give up to Bureaucrats demands.

To what do we owe the Lloy rise recently? I'm totally baffled at mo. by Brexit, share prices and the world in general. Seriously - why are we going up? Hopes of resolution of the B word?

There will be no extension of Article 50. Otherwise there will certainly be a Revolution without bullets to remove The Quislings. My view. There are also 17 million others.

Register with the Brexit Party.

I think there could be a deal to emerge from effectively dumping the no deal. The Junker-May deal to get us out of this mess is a cracking compromise. Firstly, we agree to pay the eu however many billions it wants, and crucially, everything else stays the same {that is the uk compromise). The massive concession the eu makes is that we all agree to simply say we have left the eu. (known as the eu compromise). Everyone walks away, chest held high.

Taking no deal off the table would indeed be kicking the ball into our own net. Agree with you.
