Looks like they have clearly stated to the market now that some cases are about to be concluded and recognised... Most likely in the next couple of months..

I like the inadvertent hidden guidance when mentioning the tax percentage to pay - Statutory tax rate of 25% is applicable to Australian entities with aggregated turnover below $50 million for the period ended 30 June 2022. The Group's turnover is expected to be above the threshold of $50 million in the future reporting periods which will attract a statutory tax rate of 30%.

I feel that 250p is conservative by 2025. I suspect we will be seeing 4-500p by then

You were right, again, johnwig. Over on jonwig's corrupt thread he's still telling them that Miton is the biggest share holder!

Looking good..

Found with Burford that director buy/sell signals were remarkably accurate

Looks like somebody has got wind of good results. Direction buying >£1m some while back was also a hint!

Well, the volume has been very low for ages allowing the share price to dribble down for no real reason except perhaps a biggish investor desultorily exiting a srategic position. I thought to myself last Friday it was a good time to buy a few for trading purposes with the hope of stonking results next week. However I remain steadfastly committed to my rather large, for me, basic investment. Good luck to all with a good heart.

Indiana Resources (IDA) v Tanzania Gov

Yesterday, an article published by Africa Intelligence titled “Dodoma hopes to talk its way out of mining arbitration”.

Response from IDA on the ASX today - "The Company confirms that it has not been approached by the Untied Republic of Tanzania to engage in any settlement discussions. The Company however remains open to engaging in discussions and would welcome reasonable offers to settle the current dispute."

LCM funded IDA for US$4.65m (success based repayment)

I doubt people are buying in for the close of the 2nd fund. We already know it's coming so nothing new. I think it's more a change in sentiment driven by the director buys and the recognition that (finally) the direct investment portfolio it's reaching maturation.

Would be in no rush to take a quick profit here . If the business model works and they continue to achieve similar rates of return as in the past , while spreading operational costs over a bigger number of cases , and with a bonus kicker from the funds , this could be a big fat multi bagger

Could also be the close of the 2nd fund , even if it was 98% done the board would probably still be allowed to buy shares

Yes, that sounds plausible.

Traditionally this type of sudden rise has been immediately prior to a significant court case award. I'm guessing the buyers know the verdict but not yet the amount of the win.
