Shareprice at multi-year lows - quite an achievement with markets at all-time highs.

"The new government's large electoral mandate raised expectations of political and economic stability and a strong pro-growth agenda."

I'm not sure where he got that from. It was obvious the new government was going to increase taxes, regardless of what they said before the election. We saw what happened last time they proposed increasing spending without accompanying tax rises - why would it be any different this time?

We won't know until 21st November when the half year results are published. The other players in the sector seem to be keeping theirs at least stable, so hopefully, yes.

LIO speaking for the whole nation.....The new government's large electoral mandate raised expectations of political and economic stability and a strong pro-growth agenda. The speculation and uncertainty around changes to taxation and reliefs in the lead up to the Budget on 30 October, however, have impacted investor confidence and fund flows for the whole industry including Liontrust. This has contributed to another quarter of net outflows as the challenging environment for active managers has continued for longer than anticipated

Q2 AUM down @POLR

AUM increased 4% over H1-25 (1 Apr 24 – 30 Sep 24) to £22.7bn from £21.9bn on 31 Mar 24. It was a half-year of two quarters with Q1 AUM up by 7.4% (net inflows: +£644m, investment performance: +£978m), while a more challenging and volatile market environment saw Q2 AUM down 3.5% (net outflows: -£172m, investment performance: -£655m).

Tempted to have a nibble here given the low price. Not sure whether to do it before half year trading update on 10th though...may be a little risky. Hmmmm.

If the confirm inflows and the dividend next week in the trading update on Oct 10 this will do well.

The way it keeps dripping down I guess those in the know have seen the trading update and it isn't up to much. Not holding my breath for much improvement here in the near future.

The half yearly trading update is due on Oct 10. Should be interesting. Hope we have good inflows. All LIO funds are doing well.

Taken a small punt here(556p) in the vain hope that it MIGHT be reasonable value here. IF they can stabilise/grow AUMA and keep on paying out the same level of dividend then it must be worth a look IMHO
