the chart looks good and insurers have been raking it in with reduced claims during the Covid crisis, I even had a partial refund on my car insurance! ...not from LGEN by the way so that's more profits here with a very healthy yield of ~7.5% with interim xd in less than 2 months time

well, I thought that was a rather good update. preparing to take advantage of the future by adding cheap financing, all areas of the business protected and performing no defaults. why is this not flying? very confused!

Can anyone explain why L&G took such a bashing today compared with a relatively small fall in the market?

I am hoping for a continued rally this afternoon to recover at least some of the fall in share price

I think it makes it more interesting if you can invest in companies that you have an interest in, but don't get emotionally attached.

I'm 30% cash right now. Thats high for me - with COVID still ongoing plus the forthcoming Brexit mess and US election I can't see the general markets being a lot higher by the year end. I've had a good run over the last 6 weeks (particularly last week) and I have turned far more cautious.

Nice to read your posts.As you may know LGEN has always had a large presence in Hove and I know people who work for this great employer. One reason why I m invested here.Ricardo a great engineering company is down the road in Shoreham. Struggling a bit as all car exposed shares.I always like to invest with companies with local input.We also Have AMEX in Brighton. The largest Private sector employer.Another good employer.
