02/5/2019 15:41 | I was being lazy ..within 90 days of appeal hearing so next 10 days.Think the appeal was received well but so often US courts seem to favour the home side..let's hope that's not the case here. | kooba
02/5/2019 15:38 | What is the expected date of appeal court decision? | kooba
30/4/2019 19:09 | ...the hour approaches. | pvb
28/3/2019 13:23 | No court news yet but very little stock about. Market starting to price a realistic chance of LEAF winning on appeal. Downside protected at 24p as counter suit very unlikely to succeed. | loglorry1
28/3/2019 08:30 | Any news..very aggressive buyer! | kooba
05/3/2019 10:57 | Interesting tweet from a major shareholder: | tiltonboy
04/3/2019 19:16 | Thanks for the update - seems like a good risk reward at current levels | maxmoonshine
04/3/2019 13:12 | Seems right though if successful appeal the interest is not to be sniffed at"Leaf also believes that, if it prevails in the litigation, it will be entitled to interest on the judgment at the Delaware statutory rate of interest of 6%, compounded quarterly, from the date of the breach."Breach I believe was Dec 2015.Adding that in I would take the cash per share up to just over 140p.Downside slightly trickier. They got $36.4m in , paid back small debt and paid $25.7m out ..should have left $7m , not sure there are any other assets to realise so maybe only 10p per share. However could be a highly attractive clean cash shell which would have additional value.Interesting risk reward but we are up against a big US corporate in a US court...we look to have a good case though. | kooba
04/3/2019 11:51 | "Leaf continues to believe it is entitled to damages of $122.2 million plus pre-judgment interest less $36.4 million already received." There are 52.57m shares in issue, so $85.8m = £65.45m = 124.5p per share. There are loans to come out of that, plus legals. If I've missed anything out, hopefully somebody will put me right. | tiltonboy
04/3/2019 11:03 | Hi. What would the potential outcomes of the court case translate into pence per share... | maxmoonshine
03/3/2019 14:16 | www.proactiveinvesto (Link too long for ADVFN editor to digest) So we should know the outcome by May. | pvb
01/3/2019 04:16 | Indeed. Invenergy must have thought all their Christmases had come at once when the Court of Chancery judge allowed them the “efficient breach” argument, and the LEAF team must have felt utterly cheated. So did I. We will not have long to wait to see. | andyr0503
28/2/2019 22:59 | I picked up a tiny bit more, but do not have enough confidence in the judicial system to be confident of a positive result. Good fun seeing the Invenergy brief getting slaughtered but will it translate into a decent payout. | tiltonboy
28/2/2019 22:26 | In part, it was me, buying up some of the overhang at the lower levels. There is at least one other buyer. I have been a Holder in LEAF since the Invenergy transaction, so have a good idea of the range of possible outcomes. The report on the Invenergy appeal implies to me that the outcome is likely to be OK to very good, so worth the additional holding at the 18.5p level, given we should have a good idea of the final distribution level within three months. The new higher price level looks close to the expected NAV associated with the middle outcome from the appeal. | andyr0503
28/2/2019 20:21 | OK. Thanks. | pvb
28/2/2019 18:24 | There has been a persistent buyer since the hearing. All of the overhang got cleared at the lower levels, and now even modest buy orders are pushing the price higher. | tiltonboy
28/2/2019 18:01 | Bit of a step up today and yet no obvious news. Anyone know anything? | pvb
18/2/2019 08:57 | Very interesting viewing. Invenergy brief got a slating. Leaf fared ok, but difficult to call. | tiltonboy
18/2/2019 08:15 | The opening statements for the appeal trial are available online and law360 has a brief report on the opening days proceedings. | flyfisher
06/12/2018 15:30 | AGM on 31 December. In the Cayman Islands. ;-) Details on company website. R&A been sent to shareholders, but no sign of it on website. | pvb
28/9/2018 22:56 | Final results out: More waiting, then... | pvb
07/9/2018 15:03 | Pyrrhic victory. The judge agreed to the letter, but the award of "compensation" showed what contempt there was to the tenor of the action. Effectively, correct on the letter, wrong on the substance of the complaint and what the contract clause was actually for. | hpcg
07/9/2018 11:12 | it’s certainly priced to fail but I’m in no position to judge. Seems like the hard work’s been done, they won. Whether it’s a worthwhile speculative punt, couldn’t say. I’d hope with such large sums at stake they’d have some guidance or precedence. But I don’t see insiders or barristers queuing up to buy. | jhan66 |
