I would have thought this is a real BUY now not a sell.
Brent has all the making of a trip back to $80. If/when this is apparent LAM should regain the 150s.
At $80 pb there will be lots of rigs required in the ME and indeed renewals of the existing stock.
AGM should be interesting. 2015 EPS could yet be better than expected.

FT:

The pace at which energy companies idled oil rigs slowed a bit this week, data showed on Friday, raising questions again on whether the slowdown in drilling activity could be bottoming out. .

The number of active rigs drilling for oil in the US fell by 24 to 679 in the week to May 1, according to oilfield services company Baker Hughes. It was the 21th consecutive weekly drop.

The pace of declines fell from the previous week, when 31 rigs were taken offline and is much lower than the January peak when 94 rigs were idled.

Oil producers took 21 horizontal rigs offline, bringing the total to 699.

Oil had its best month since 2009 in April. A spate of encouraging data - including falling oil rigs and weaker than expected increase in US crude stockpile helped push prices for West Texas Intermediate, the US oil benchmark, nearly 26 per cent higher last month. Brent crude, its international counterpart, ended the month 21 per cent higher.

Ahead of the release, WTI was 1.7 per cent lower at $58.63 a barrel, while Brent crude, the global oil standard, was down 1.5 per cent at $65.77 a barrel.

Me too - if it gets that low - 138p is my 'add' target.

I think we will edge down to 135p, at which figure I will
increase further here.

Good news flow from the company now, after decent
results and a recent contract win.
They now need to focus on the dividend policy to keep
existing and encourage new including city money into the stock.
I am an investor in recovery situations, that also
returns to the dividend list, in my honest opinion
it is now time for lamprell to do this, at the next
results.

Unlikely as the AGM is much earlier this year. Last year the AGM was not until 10th June and an IMS issued prior to that on 16th May. More likely the two will be rolled into one on May 12th.

IMS has been before the AGMs in the past I see so perhaps sooner then.

Rather swiftly into the 140s - quicker than even I expected.
I doubt that Nomura will leave their TP at 125p! In November they were £2+.

The AGM will be interesting; is there another contract win to come for Q2/2015?
We'll see.

More than 'decent' Skinny. Excellent - provided always that it holds over the next day or so. The recent contract win in the face of gloomy predictions and poor oil market conditions really has boosted confidence here and rightly so.

Investec have a Buy out today too.

Interesting that these upgrades come ahead of the AGM on May 12 - IMS statement should come with that like last year imo.
