well, CR's view is always worth hearing.

can't argue with his comment about the state of the chart. funny how a promising looking chart can turn into a horrible looking chart so quickly!

but i remain convinced that there is nothing wrong with LAM, so will let things play out here. here's hoping i am not still saying the same thing while watching the price try to recover from 100p...

i asked cr why he was a bit negative on lam news and in response cr has written

Just feel he'd have stayed if there was glory to be had there tipjunkie. The chart not exactly looking as bullish as it was.

I might be wrong but think I'd sooner play safe if I had been in there and re-visit later but that's me.

If a mid-cap company is that reliant on one individual, it wouldn't be worth investing in in the first place. They appear to be going about things in a measured and planned way

RSI hit 20 today suggesting it could be oversold and ready for a reversal. No substantive news to justify the fall

Great news.
Succession planning underway for JM's anticipated retirement.
JK making it plain he is fully committed to this process.
TW anointed at last as CFO/FD.
Getting true heavy weight in Debra Valentine as a NED is icing on the cake.

Not surprised that price goes a little south but I rate these an even stronger buy now.

have complained about about the way shares are reported as buys and sell
which could influence the way people make decisions if more people complain maybe the market makers be bought to rights first PPI then LIBOR ,now may be time for stock market complained on the link below

maybe there should be some legal guide lines as to how these are repo
as they affect finacial decissons ,you could post the link on other boards more
people complain maybe would could set some action if nothing else at least it is recorded as misconduct

No date set yet for interims. Last year's was 28 August.
Not too worried about them.
Brent is a worry until we get something like stability; it's getting harder to fathom just where the poo will be this time next year.
When the uncertainty ends LAM should go north - the when is the troubling bit.

There you go - it was The Pru selling a few more.
That's 1.5m sold this month.
It could just be they're happy to release a few to willing buyers.
However the POO is not helping either.
A contract win ahead of the Interims would do the trick!

Agreed. And with the Pru trimming they'll hang around in the hopes of a bargain.
So we may stay stuck and 150 or so for a bit.
