Nothing more than a gut feeling but think Laird might go sub 300 before a recovery. That is certainly where I am looking to reinvest. Wait and see If guess.

UBS calls statement solid and valuation undemanding at 13 times 2016 PE versus peers on 16 times. Hikes target price to 355p. CH.

Anybody would think that the Company had issued a profits warning rather than a confident and encouraging statement. Hopefully the Company will now realise that the lack of information has perhaps unsettled investors and will remedy matters swiftly. CH.

The trading update was far too brief and vanilla. You cannot meet the bare minimum requirements of the Stock market rules and not get punished in the current market. A silly own goal, unless things are not quite as bullish as we all think.

Lol stop loss hit well overplayed to the downside IMHO. Ah well wait and see where this goes in the following trading days and find a suitable place to climb aboard again.

Ok a bit of a vanilla statement basically an in line with expectations. Will it be enough to push us through breakout after yesterday's rise I am not sure think it might depend on what sort of day the FTSE 250 has. Also remember a lot of companies play down their expectations and in any case even if Laird only achieve what their expectations where, nobody can argue that is a bad year.GLA

Expect to see some selling at this level from those with a shorter term view as it has now matched the closing high of last February.

Still moving up strongly and close to closing price high on 25/2/14. MM's anxious to take on stock it would appear as they are prepared to pay full bid price on substantial trade volumes that I have offered. No intention of selling though. Dividend yield at present price = 3.827%.

Not sure I share your conspiracy theory El Chup but go with what you think. If price remains at this level by the end of today I am going to move my stop loss up to about 310 I expect good news tomorrow but will protect my profits in case we are thrown a curveball.

The new plant in Vietnam, the expanded telematics plant in Shanghai,the new one in Brazil will all I believe contribute to growth due to robust demand for Laird products in the motor industry. We will also surely see the demand for recent highly successful Apple launches reflected in the update tomorrow. Wearable technology, something else Laird is involved in, is also a potentially huge growth area. The exchange rate I believe will also be of benefit. I therefore expect some good news, we have after all waited for most of last year to see the share price begin to challenge the peak reached in mid February. CH.

It has already penetrated the resistance neckline of the pattern I have been going on about recently. I am not a chartist so would welcome some comment from anyone on this present chart pattern. CH.

Lot's of interest in Laird on the run up to results tomorrow seems to be a good sign. Think if results are good we will smash the long term resistance band we have been in for sometime and the breakout should mean the price will rise perhaps by 30p to 50p given a little time. GLA
