05/3/2017 12:09 | Updated14:30, 25 JAN 2017 Mr Williams added: “Kromek has made good progress this year, in which we achieved a number of important operational targets, enlarging our customer base and strengthening our relationship with our OEM partners. 'This resulted in significant contract wins over the past 18 months which have given us forward visibility over revenues in excess of 85% of market expectations for the current year' - Note the final paragraph. If there's one thing that the market wants to see is a company that meets or even better exceeds market expectations. With 85% revenue expectations in the bag it's not going to take much to exceed revenue expectations going forward. And I suspect the placing was the final piece in the jigsaw that allows (unlocks) the signing off of commercial contracts as KMK move forward | status epilepticus
04/3/2017 13:04 | 'In all, 5.13mln shares were up for offer at a price of 20p a share, and Kromek could have shifted two-and-a-half times that amount.' I am intrigued by this statement from the PI article dated 10-02-2017. The demand for stock begs the question as to what these people know that we mere mortals do not? Does the capital raise now unlock contracts to be signed off that customers were reluctant to place due to a weak balance sheet? Let's hope so Apologies if this point has already been made | status epilepticus

02/3/2017 23:52 | Kromek secures a five-year contract totalling $12.6m with long-standing OEM customerDevelopment and supply of detectors for launch of new generation of bone mineral densitometry systemsKromek (AIM: KMK), a radiation detection technology company focusing on the medical, security and nuclear markets, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new contract with a current OEM customer, a worldwide producer and exporter of bone mineral density ("BMD") diagnostics systems, for developing and supplying detectors to be incorporated into the customer's new generation systems. The contract, worth $12.6m, is expected to start during the first half of the financial year to 30 April 2017 and to be delivered over a 5-year period.Under the terms of the agreement, Kromek's detector modules will be incorporated into the customer's systems to produce some of the most accurate imaging to diagnose the strength and health of bones. The new generation of diagnostic systems will allow clinicians to accurately detect and monitor progression of osteoporosis in patients resulting in more effective treatment.Arnab Basu, CEO of Kromek, said: "It is very pleasing to secure such a significant contract from a longstanding customer.
