Umm, assume they're going dirt cheap as nobody else wants them now, opex isn't the lowest in the world but I guess they can just run them down and add cheap tie-backs when needed.

JUB at 80K is good.

EG:-
KOS "The first of three infill wells in the Okume Complex was spudded in June 2021 with positive initial results. The rig will now move to the second well location and hookup has commenced for the first well. All three wells are expected online in the fourth quarter of 2021.",

PANORO
"Drilling of the first of three planned infill wells in the Okume Complex has
been completed. The well encountered good quality oil saturated reservoir
sands. The rig has now moved to the second well location and hookup has
commenced for the first well. All three wells are expected onstream in the
fourth quarter."

JSE appears to be Mahogany East which in 2010 was being proposed as a 4 to 6 well sub-sea tieback. In current cash constrained situation maybe an initial 2 to 3 wells? And towards lower end of TFMC's range?

"For TechnipFMC, a “significant” contract is between $75 million and $250 million."

Looking good at the mo, lot of talk of $100 oil next year, can't see it despite the underinvestment but it's helping sentiment

NYSE:KOS was up 19% last night at $3.68 as "Bernstein moved Kosmos from market perform to outperform.... their analyst expects oil demand to increase by around 10% even as alternative energy options, such as electric cars and hydrogen, continue to expand.... good outcome for exploration and production names across the board, as they look to return more capital to investors. In addition to upping the rating on Kosmos, Bernstein also increased the stock's price target, more than doubling it....the new target of $7.80 per share is above the previous call of $3.70"

wk 23 "Talos Energy has successfully completed drilling operations on the Tornado 3 sidetrack well (Tornado Attic well), which discovered pay in-line with pre-drill expectations. The Tornado Attic well was designed to optimize recovery and was drilled approximately 4,500 feet from the Tornado water flood injection well and 1,550 feet away from the closest existing producer well. Drilling operations were conducted from the Seadrill drillship West Neptune and encountered approximately 85 gross (63 net) feet of true vertical thickness pay in the B6 Upper Zone with rock properties and reservoir consistent with internal modeling and pre-drill expectations. The Company will immediately move to the completion phase. As a result of the existing infrastructure in place and accelerated completion timeline, production is expected by the third quarter of 2021, ahead of initial expectations. Talos expects the Attic Well to produce approximately 8-10 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day gross once online. Talos holds a 65% working interest in the Tornado field and is the operator with Kosmos Energy holding a 35% working interest."

According to Bassoe Wk 22

"Trident Energy has commenced drilling operations in the Elon Field in Block G, offshore Equatorial Guinea. Three infill wells, Elon-A, Elon-C and Elon-D, will be drilled on the field to offset declining production at the nearby Ceiba and Okume Complex. The Vantage Drilling jackup Sapphire Driller will drill the infill wells."

Yes impressive timing there on Panoro, BW had really talked the extension up big time though so a bit of bad luck.
Would be great if they use those option, would seem to be good timing to get it out of the ground...

Yes indeed. I bought some Panoro and, as luck had it, they drilled the first duster on Dussafu in years! :)

I'm kind of hoping Trident/KOS will exercise their options on Sapphire Driller assuming some early infill drilling success and continuing OP strength.
