24/2/2021 15:45 | An interesting pick up in volume over the past few sessions with some chunky purchases. Particularly noteable are the 2 x 50k block buys at full 170p offer today and a 100k and 50k buy on Monday. Somebody wants in. Could a deal be in the offing. | x54v
24/2/2021 14:05 | Just off the desk............and this is the sort of deal that now has to be done for CASH. "Exxon Mobil agrees to sell most of its non-operated upstream assets in the U.K. central and northern North Sea to HitecVision for more than $1B, plus as much as another $300M in contingent payments based on potential for increase in commodity prices. The agreement includes ownership interests in 14 producing fields operated primarily by Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A, RDS.B); Elgin Franklin fields operated by Total (NYSE:TOT); and interests in the associated infrastructure; Exxon's share of production from the fields was ~38K boe/day in 2019. Exxon says it will retain its non-operated share in upstream assets in the southern North Sea, and its share in the Shell Esso gas and liquids infrastructure that supplies ethane to the company's Fife ethylene plant." | anley
24/2/2021 11:11 | SURFIT....based on what Kist want is now getting more and more expensive as the price squeeze on gas gathers pace and on top of this you have a very high market valuation on Kist. In no way am I saying that AA should take a look at Deltic. It is a good example where if it did then at what price would it pitch its price using its inflated paper? BUT............ If Deltic hit gas with Shell then the value of the company shoots up and so the questions goes back to AA as to what he would do...........can you see his problem and there seems to be no short term solution in my view. If you listen to MALCY there is nothing that comes out of any substance even if he sucks up to AA and a few others.....in the world of investing you have to be brutal. | anley
23/2/2021 19:05 | AA should have sent him a double"double Big Mac and we would have a had a stonker of a review.... | fandagle
23/2/2021 18:49 | Hey Fandagle, my bet is Malcy, made a call to AA and either got told: I am not saying anything or more likely did not let the receptionist connect him. He is not going to let Malcy even speculate anything at this stage (i.e. loose lips sink ships) ....as things could possibley be very sensitive? Rgds Sft | surfit
23/2/2021 12:36 | Even more convinced there is an I3E - Serenity tie-in! Always remember AA had a habit of wrong footing the markets. | fandagle
21/2/2021 18:54 | Not a very complimentary update by malcy. But, But, But wasnt he the one who said HUR were the next Rockrose, see how that dog went... | fandagle

20/2/2021 22:57 | Hi anley, took on board your comments here and had a quick look at Deltic Energy: Just my opinion but they appear to be looking for farm in partners for drilling to confirm their 2d /3d seismic gathered data? I just do not see that fitting AA and his teams previous MO, in that putting the companies money into something that is not proven i.e. too high a risk? True the SNS locations are gas (Dewar CNS is oil, not considered) and 2 of the SNS locations have farming by Shell....but if they failed, which is always possible...then what happens?. I would expect Kistos to build through existing to generate "some" immediate return.... but with multiple potential aspects for growth...Hence my contender is possibley with Perenco???? Thoughts? 18/2/2021 19:31 | Kind of wondering whats going on now, not a big fan of RNS for NO reason, but sometimes an update to say were still here is beneficial.... | fandagle
17/2/2021 07:43 | I have 4 funds on the go, 3 of them are AI/tech, combined they provide me with around 38% annual income, my latest is sustainable energy.... | fandagle
17/2/2021 06:24 | Or is it that new exciting growth sectors are opening up in the world. Like EV revolution causing great demand for copper, lithium, cobalt etc. Like the wind & solar power developments on the back of carbon neutral targets. Like the growth of hydrogen as a transport & domestic fuel, fuel cells and electrolyers. Like the growth of crypto currencies, NFT's and DeFi (decentralised finance). Like Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality. I could go on. So many new , emerging, disruptive industries. Oh and of course Health/pharma. Vaccines, testing, trials etc | plasybryn
17/2/2021 04:48 | No....at this moment in time its called the "everyone is a stock expert"........norma So at the moment all the stocks that are unloved are going up as "they are all going to the moon".......and those stocks which have gone up already are being sold off to fund the moon venture. This is also known as the rising tide syndrome........even rubbish gets lifted on a rising tide......... At this moment in time the wise are moving out of speculative and into solid - while the not so wise are selling solid to go moon chasing in speculative. | pro_s2009
16/2/2021 13:37 | I noticed on the "competitor" page - there seems a block on me posting - that Deltic Energy could be a target by KIST. Now that would make for a good bun fight as you need to look at Deltics shareholders list. Over 50% of the shareholders - I think - object for quite a number of reasons. I would say Kist needs a deal from those North Sea operators who want to get out of the North Sea - the Yanks for example and BP but not Shell who have a different policy for the next few years. What is happening to energy prices - short and long term - will majke deals more and more expensive but if theres a team that is trying then AA is your man. | anley
16/2/2021 12:10 | Don’t think the market likes the I3E rumour either. | fandagle
15/2/2021 19:37 | It's happening a production well on I3e exploration well , original drill / serenity. | dropperking
15/2/2021 16:24 | I think its a bad move going after I3E. There are smallcaps like DELT that lean towards gas which would be a better fit for KIST's strategy. Cash | cashandcard

14/2/2021 19:52 | “We’re not going after black oil this time...” - 4:20 | x54v
13/2/2021 08:54 | I said this from day one, but was shot down. Whilst it is and oil field it is a safe bet in many ways.Repsol continue to dither as to what level of commitment they have to the North Sea. There may be deal to be struck with the recently refurbished Bloeholm FPSO. | fandagle
12/2/2021 20:16 | Farm out deal / funded by Austin ? | dropperking |
