04/9/2021 09:24 | Looking at the chart in the header there is a clear pattern, up on news followed by a period of sideways consolidation, then repeat. If that continues the price may rise and fall a few pence during the next consolidation phase but quite likely no more than that, making this not the best of shares to trade especially given the wide spread. It's a medium to long term hold for me. Nearly 100% buys on Friday so could have further to go up short term? | bountyhunter
04/9/2021 08:57 | I love it when people make money just winds me up when they have to instantly say right I have sold it will drop I will be back in lower I agree, think it has been remarkably strong even with our TR1 holder taking some off the tableInterims shortly, malcy interview (has already spoken to Andrew who is extremely excited/happy) further news and even a potential aquisition. Not one to trade for me | gf123
04/9/2021 08:44 | Thing is im just not sure if the share price will drop much lower, look at the chart since January, the September update with regards to finances should also be very positive.. | fandagle
03/9/2021 20:48 | Yes good for youYes your decision. Thanks for telling us all about the gap and wanting to buy in lower | gf123
03/9/2021 17:07 | "Good for you". It's our money; what we do with it is our decision and ours alone. I hope to buy back in at a lower price. Who knows whether I will be able to? My decision and mine alone. Put the proceeds into SQZ. | papillon
03/9/2021 15:50 | Must admit I did take a slice a few weeks ago and set aside in a low stress Fund, think im going hold the rest for the longer term. | fandagle

02/9/2021 18:11 | I sold all my KIST shares yesterday. Why? It opened yesterday with a large gap up. Gaps up often need to be filled. | papillon
01/9/2021 12:18 | 27 Aug presentation: Needs updating already! | bountyhunter
01/9/2021 11:19 | Solid progress but the acquisition will require capital via cash/share placing. Good share T/O this morning and profit slicing for some. | anley
01/9/2021 10:31 | All about Q10A today. (60% owned). production at acquisition 5.5 mboepd net 1st half production 5.16 mboepd net Planned shut in of gas production expected after shut in and exiting 2021 of 7.6 mboepd Then there is the oil. KIST owns 100% of the oil (not 60%) Edit "Wrong..... KIST owns 60%" Light oil 33 api good flowtest ...better than expected. fdp expected and they were hoping for 8 well production. or sell the oil. Awaiting new resource statement. | mariopeter
01/9/2021 08:05 | Nice start! | bountyhunter
01/9/2021 08:02 | Crikey they are even able to expand production on Q10a by releasing constraints. Shut in was in the documentation when purchased. Thinking of keeping the oil which could be valuable indeed if future permissions to wildcat in the next 10 years are going to be awkward in the North Sea. I'm with that concept. | mariopeter
01/9/2021 07:34 | Commenting, Andrew Austin, Kistos' Interim CEO, said: "I am delighted to be able to announce the extremely positive results from the appraisal well in the Vlieland sandstone. This is a great credit to the team who have spent several years believing in the reservoir and planning this activity. We will now look at our options for developing the field, which overlies our existing producing gas field, in the most carbon efficient manner including the use of shore power derived from renewable sources. I look forward to updating our stakeholders on the remainder of the drilling campaign over the coming months. In the meantime, the signing of the exclusivity agreement on the Ferrum wind farm demonstrates our commitment to the provision of low carbon intensity energy supplies. It complements the gas facility we are seeking to develop at IJmuiden, allowing us to keep emissions as low as possible. This is an exciting prospect for Kistos and we look forward to announcing further progress in the near future. " | bountyhunter
01/9/2021 07:31 | Not just one but two significant news releases, saves money on RNSs! :) 1)The Q10-A-04 A well was flow tested for 5 days between 26(th) and 31(st) August 2021. During this time, a maximum stable rate of 3,200 barrels of oil per day (bopd) was achieved, which was higher than anticipated. The oil will be sold to a local refinery and is good quality with an API of 33deg. 2) On 31(st) August, Kistos signed an Agreement with Infinergy and Windcollectief Noord-Holland to enter into exclusive negotiations to acquire Windpark Ferrum. Windpark Ferrum comprises three wind turbines on the TATA-owned site in IJmuiden where Kistos proposes to reroute gas production from Q10-A and build a compression station adjacent to an existing facility. The wind farm can produce up to 7MW of electricity and would enable Kistos to supply a material proportion of the power required by the new facility from a renewable source. This would have the effect of materially reducing the overall carbon emissions of the new plant. | bountyhunter

31/8/2021 22:46 | Yes Dutch TTF future over Euro 50 tonight. So if the gas field was throwing off Euro 50m EBITDA annualised at 21 Euro per therm then you can imagine there is lots of additional EBITDA coming in at 50 Euro per therm. Analysts had been expecting the Dutch gas price to regularise when European gas stocks were bolstered but no sign of that yet. Not helping Europe but there is some threat from Russia that they may restrict gas supplies to Europe. Will not last forever but a heck of a bounce forward for KIST after the first acquisition. Share price looks about ready to move further North even without any news from the current drill program or a further acquisition. Great place to be here. | mariopeter
31/8/2021 16:28 | With Dutch TTF prices going the way they are, we're not going to see any shares at this price for much longer!! | quicky9
25/8/2021 13:39 | Papillon - nice chart and analysis. I’m sure you will be right… | davidbennett |
