A lot depends on the timing, as the wording is quite specific. But for average net debt to be flat ("The Group's average month-end net debt for FY21 remained at a level similar to the average month-end net debt for FY20") given that they raised £350m (gross - below £320m net thanks to fees), then how much was going out of the door before the raise and sale?

We don't know because we can't see the detail. It's all about 'the Board's expectations.'

Trading

Trading since the announcement of our half year results continued to be resilient and consequently the Group's full year results are anticipated to be moderately ahead of the Board's expectations. This reflects strong operational performance and the confidence we outlined in our half year results in April 2021.


Net debt

The Group is expected to generate positive adjusted operating cash flow for the full year 2021.

With cash generation continuing to be strong, we anticipate reporting a net debt / cash position at the year end, better than the Board's previous expectations.

ISG, Kier, Laing O’Rourke and Wates secure £1bn MoJ prisons scheme


'ISG, Kier, Laing O’Rourke and Wates have been appointed to the Ministry of Justice’s (MoJ) £1bn New Prisons Programme to build four new adult male prisons across the UK
This alliance will create over 6,000 new, modern, prison places with a core focus on safety, security and rehabilitation.

The prisons programme uses a pioneering alliance form of contract, with all four contractors collaborating on a delivery methodology that prioritises MMC – incorporating standardised components, platform P-DfMA and digitisation of the construction process.'

Since Kier is the only one of the four contractors to have actually already delivered a prison, and since Kier developed the P-DfMA approach for prisons (in partnership with Interserve, as I understand it) I'm guessing that Kier could be the lead partner here and with any luck, the largest revenue earner, but even if Kier's share of the revenue is only £250m, this is still one very valuable contract.

Was already filtered but would triple filter if I could.
