CJ I suspect nothing will be announced until the CLN start converting, and that’s only going to happen I would think at the lowest point possible in order to gain maximum voting rights, to force a consolidation. It’s drip drip drip at the moment but wait until the placee starts dumping.

Apart from placings and CLNs we haven't heard anything else of substance from LC et al for a very long time. Is he still bothering to pretend he is actually doing anything anymore?

There appears to be a revised attitude towards coal emerging as a result of recent events. I suspect our coal assets may be worth a lot more than they were a month ago but expect LC to be incapable of turning that into any value for shareholders.

Well it will be interesting to see how long it takes for the placee to dump all that stock into the market, and how low it pushes the price down to.

I presume that this is the true inflection point when the CLN holders will exercise their options at the lowest point.

Will they have enough votes to force a share consolidation then I wonder…

Rinse and repeat.

Wouldn't put anything past them now. They've painted themelves into their own corner and like Putin they'll do anyything to get out of it - regardless.

Despite the extension there’s still no notification of any conversions having taken place.

What’s their game? Waiting for the share price to get significantly lower?

Well if this pans out as I would expect it to they will probably appoint another broker again just before the consolidation, or just after, perhaps even a name change then as well, clean slate and all that, then perhaps another new direction and project, what about palm oil? Bananas? Space travel? STRONG BUY PMSL.

DPR - all the more reason you won't find any competent individual who'll take this on. Maybe some one with the judgement of Yaki ?

You mention twice bringing in new people / who in their right mind would take this on firstly, and also how do you intend that they are paid? More shares that you have just said you don’t want to issue? Cash that the company doesn’t have? Sensible answers please as I think you are really struggling to grasp the concept of this.
Oubliette.

@Lurker5 The difference is that this is not a large international company. It is a company with a market cap of only £4.78M!

know it all guru has spoken

For starters, what one can do:
-stop issuing shares left, right and centre. Finance 101 - equity - most expensive form of funding
-bring in people who can actually run the assets well operationally - Mast, Kat etc
-don't sell assets you spent on mlns for peanuts - eg Imweru and now maybe coal!
-market sentiment - no one has any respect for the current BoD. Bring in new people who can entice buyers

And a few others I can think of!

Look at POW - was 0.2 went up to 3p. Opposite to Kibo!

So who is this SHAG going to find to take on Kibo's bag of rags ? I was part of a very famous SHAG many moons ago at a very large international company, and I can tell you a SHAG has to know its onions to make any impression. The evidence so far is that Kibo's would-be-shaggers haven't the faintest understanding of what has really gone wrong.

That doesn’t matter Lurker, just keep buying, whilst it appears, the LTH are doing quite the opposite.

What’s really interesting is that people are encouraging buyers, but then large delayed sells pop up.

The same people that sold out of their holdings previously whilst telling people to buy, strong buy wasn’t it G4S?

So that’s a little naughty isn’t it?

Especially knowing there’s the convertible loan notes AND the recent placing shares to be flipped.

Very naughty indeed.
