22/8/2018 19:29 | What happened to waiting until £21 Rathean | windsor430
22/8/2018 10:44 | Hi Scooper. I've got a core holding I'm keeping for the long term. I like KWS and their medium term outlook. It's also clear it trades within a range. Between November 17 and March 18 it bounced between 1400 and 1600. From April till now it ranges between 1600 and 2000. It may break 2000 and set another base at that level and start ranging between 2000 and another level. Or it may drop back to 1600. Either way I'll try and play the ranges. It's been relatively easy money so far as it's been so predictable. | villarich
22/8/2018 09:18 | Sold at 1970 for a very healthy gain. Gla on the potential ride into the 20s, will be back in on the next dip. | rathean
22/8/2018 08:55 | Villarich, are you referring to the peaks in June, July, and now August? | scooper72
22/8/2018 08:53 | I've put a stop loss at 1950 for a third of trading holding. But at least based on the morning trading it looks like it may remain unsold. | scooper72
22/8/2018 08:09 | Sold at 19.52 for 14% profit. Will be back in when this dips again. Still got my long term SIPP investment. | villarich
21/8/2018 18:51 | scooper72 yes, you did the right thing. Be debt free, you can sleep easily. Do you hold Boo? In my opinion they will have a run to 200p and then 235p and probably 280p. But do your research, very volatile, cheaper than KWS and many AIM stocks. Gold stocks are cheap but driven by politics, the US$. Gold prices will recover, who knows with N Korea,Iran and Europe. stay lucky. | christh
21/8/2018 17:15 | Good to see it ending at the days high suggesting more of the same tomorrow morning at the least. If we get another white candle tomorrow then it'll be a nice 3 white soldiers pattern, at which point, I'll be selling my trading shares bought at 1717p. | villarich
21/8/2018 17:02 | Thank you Christh. We can all be happy to still be holding at 4.30pm today. Although I did sell about 3k worth at 1910 since I wanted to reduce my over draft back to zero. Probably sensible. But thanks to the movement today, still have over 100k in KWS. | scooper72
21/8/2018 16:30 | christh 8 Aug '18 - 11:19 - 1923 of 1984 I expect a break out to 1800p but will have to wait....sooner or later in the next 2 weeks, and maybe hit 1900p. Volume is very low, probably because of the holiday season there you go chaps as I was saying. Today it hit £19.40p Well done to the holders/Investors. More to come.....and all in my humble opinion. | christh
21/8/2018 15:07 | Well, after not adding very much to the share price yesterday after the excellent acquisition news, it's certainly making up for it today. I wonder how much of this is Berenberg's influence. | aimingupward2
21/8/2018 14:32 | Here's more on Berenberg's upgrade: "Berenberg lifts Keywords Studios target price after Gobo acquisition Berenberg upped its price target on Keywords Studios to 2,150p from 2,060p on Tuesday, as it reiterated its 'buy' rating following the company's announced acquisition of Gobo Ltd and Electric Square, together Gobo, for £26m. With Gobo expected to deliver around 15% organic growth and maintain high-20% EBIT margins, versus the Keywords group of circa 16%, Berenberg upped its earnings per share estimates by 1.0%- 6.5% for FY 2018-20 respectively. Berenberg said the Gobo deal adds 170 developers to Keywords’ staff. Combined with the company's previous acquisitions of d3t, Sperasoft and GameSim, this grows its co-development staff by 38% to 610. As a result, Keywords is establishing itself as a leading co-development player, despite entering the vertical only in May 2017, the bank said, adding that it expects M&A to continue to have a slight co-development and engineering focus in the near-term for two reasons. "Firstly, we believe capacity those areas is relatively light versus the larger market opportunity, compared to the other verticals. Secondly, a core part of Keywords’ growth approach is to develop strategic outsource partnerships with its clients where it is embedded across multiple stages of, or the entire, game development cycle, providing a number of services." | rivaldo
21/8/2018 11:57 | Does anyone on this board have gaming industry experience to be able to make an estimate of the extent of the worthwhile acquisition opportunities that still lie ahead for KWS, &/or has anyone seen what Berenberg have said in this regard (if indeed they have)? | aimingupward2
21/8/2018 08:51 | Berenberg today say Buy and increase their target price to 2150p (from 2060p): | rivaldo
21/8/2018 08:44 | I've finally had time to digest the acquisition news yesterday so sorry if this post seems late or irrelevant now.I'm again impressed with this acquisition. It complements the current operations really well, expanding the core KES activity in supporting big game developers with coding and engineering.I'm also really impressed with the price they've paid. £26m to add at least £3.6m each year (and growing fast) is super cheap in my eyes. Well done KWS!! | villarich
20/8/2018 15:16 | I was looking to sell circa £19 but I'm going to hunker down until £21+, really liking the super fast growth story here in a rapidly expanding market. | rathean
20/8/2018 09:18 | Brilliant acquisition - they've got a great rep in the industry & have experienced excellent growth themselves | windsor430
20/8/2018 08:59 | There were 2500 on the sell order side just now at 1866p, but they got wiped out pretty quickly as the buy orders kept coming in. Enjoying watching the action on Level 2 this morning. | scooper72
20/8/2018 08:53 | Linking full settlement to performance very astute, 1850 is resistance but beyond that it's a rising channel into the 20s imo dyor ofc. | rathean
20/8/2018 08:07 | 01 Jun 18.....Peel Hunt...Add...1900.00 30 May 18.....Numis.......B | christh
20/8/2018 07:57 | will it test £19 today, after another aquisition? It should be re-rated as assets have increased and the NAV also increased. It hit near enough £20 a few weeks ago and a broker tipped to £21.80 well, let's see how the market likes the news | christh
20/8/2018 07:29 | Excellent news: "expected to be earnings enhancing in the first year" "further expands the number of the world's leading game companies who use our development services" "ever greater visibility of games in the pipeline" plus a large part of the consideration dependent on performance. | rivaldo
20/8/2018 07:16 | Keywords Studios PLC Acquisition of Studio Gobo and Electric Square GOBO are a high gowth company. Very good acquisition. See the rns Here is GOBO website | christh
20/8/2018 07:09 | Couple of acquisitions, Studio Gobo and Electric Square, "Substantially Expanding Keywords' Engineering Service Line with its Video Game Development capabilities" | bigbigdave
15/8/2018 15:55 | Sounds sensible | scooper72 |
