17/11/2017 16:11 | FDEV are very interesting, Tencent have a strategic stake and they will launch the Jurassic World franchise next year. The key thing for me is that games are moving from being products to services, which means the opportunity to build franchises is huge, which will also allow people like KWS to become imbedded with whole games ecosystems. | mad foetus
17/11/2017 15:39 | Agreed Nimbo - everything around it is booming & even live sports are increasingly "gamified"... know any other UK stocks we can look at? Sega, Sony & Nintendo are Tokoyo, EA & Zynga on Nasdaq, SI is private... help needed! | windsor430
17/11/2017 10:31 | thanks for posting that link. bought some more this morning after watching that. Huge opportunity ahead for them. If I could have all my money in one sector over the next 10 years it would be in gaming. | nimbo1
17/11/2017 10:30 | A very convincing presentation imo. Needs some digesting but I have topped up on the basis of it. | mad foetus

16/11/2017 10:21 | A brief snippet about the Investor Day from Davy Stockbrokers - anyone a client who can access the full report? "Keywords Studios Three new insights from the Capital Markets Day Nov 15 2017, 15:05 GMT Company Report 9 page(s) Read Important Disclosures Sectors: Technology COMPANIES: DAVY VIEW Keywords Studios’ (KWS) Capital Markets Day (CMD) on November 14th demonstrated clearly the depth of experience now present in its senior management. KWS also reinforced its progress to date (acquisitions, increased footprint/services, cross selling) and the continued opportunity for its consolation strategy. Overall, we came away with three new insights on KWS (why companies sell to KWS, structural advantages in acquiring and the evolution of outsourcing as the industry evolves). We have included key slides from the CMD on pages 3-5." | rivaldo

13/11/2017 22:04 | Thanks for the reply Alphabet. Yes I might be a bit overweight in KWS. But long term its probably in a much better position in the context of its industry and market than a lot of other companies I can think of, so find that quite reassuring. | scooper72
13/11/2017 14:30 | scooper7210 Nov '17 - 08:02 - 1197 of 1202 0 0 So alpha when u say you made a small trade at 1518 with a target of 1600 is that aside from a more long term holding? Sorry Scooper, just noticed your comment. Yes - I normally have around 8-9% of my portfolio here (my largest position) with up to 2% as a trade. Personally I have a portfolio rule where I won't go beyond 12%. | alphabeta4
13/11/2017 12:16 | added some more at 1500 | ashehzi
13/11/2017 12:01 | Does seem to look that way... | gswredland
13/11/2017 11:25 | Heading for placing price by the looks of things | panic investor
13/11/2017 10:38 | finding the weakness strange so bought a few more. can't imagine it will get to the 14 placing price and perhaps a 50% retrace of the previous rise will be enough to find support. | nimbo1
13/11/2017 09:21 | What is the PE here please? | gswredland
10/11/2017 08:02 | So alpha when u say you made a small trade at 1518 with a target of 1600 is that aside from a more long term holding? | scooper72
10/11/2017 08:00 | Thanks for your thoughts alpha, v helpful. With my trade yesterday this is now just under 25% of my portfolio. | scooper72
09/11/2017 18:37 | Scooper, famous last words but I think 1500p is probably the floor. My take is the acquisition added c350p to most broker targets so if you take the previous drop to 1200 and then add the 350p then that should where decent support kicks in for this leg. I use this style of trading a lot and it tends to work for me, enough to be a professional trader / investor anyway. Small add for me as a trade at 1518p, target 1600 or 1660. | alphabeta4
09/11/2017 16:54 | I picked up 10k worth at 1516p so up about £180 on the day. First time I have traded KWS. I will probably hang on to them unless they dip although it increases my holding by 25% | scooper72 |
