Price has reached a critical point as it has hit the overhead trendline.

EOD close above this line opens up some great new tp's, which I will follow up with if the pattern confirms.

I must admit I am surprised how well the price has done since the recent figures, and was too hasty to sell. Nevertheless it was a great trade.

My expectation was that we would have entered a consolidation zone before now, and guess that a flag, pennant or more lasting continuation pattern will form soon.

I noticed during the previous consolidation that there is sometimes a 'clumsy' seller around, and wonder if they may re-appear and create some more good buying/adding ops.

After such a sharp rise, end-of-week profit-taking was likely to knock the share price down a bit today - and will still be a factor. So if the price does slip, it won't necessarily indicate a negative view of this deal, which looks a very positive one that would have pumped the share price higher if it hadn't already leapt. Or maybe some of this recent rise is due to leaks regarding this deal?

Perhaps mopping up the German services next, after setting a nice precedent, convincing them that only multi language providers will remain in business.

Great-sounding acquisition today. It consolidates "leading providers of audio and localisation services in French" in Europe, and with closing certain offices and re-locating into one central office should bring lots of synergies.

Above all - it's cheap! Paying a max €7.6m for €0.9m PBT and €9m of revenues looks blinding value to me.

Great stuff:

Having added some on 24-May at 818.75 with the hope that they would bounce back to the pre-placing price above £8.50 for a short-term trade, the share price has been down to £7.30 and is now at the dizzy heights of £12.

Thankfully, I did not sell any near the bottom and have sold most of those I added, at 8.66, 11.12 and 11.55 respectively, to get my buy-price average nearer to where it was before this trade. I wish I screwed up all trades this badly, especially as it has paid for a few shares to be added to my long term holding.

If only all shares were as strong SP-wise as KWS has been to date.

Indeed - Octopus have actually increased by over 300,000 shares - or around £3m - to 3.36m shares since their last holdings RNS on 23rd June....

Judging from the tone of the narrative recently I'd say it won't be long before the next earnings-enhancing acquisition comes along.

Anyone got more details of Numis' upgrade to 1260p (or indeed Citigroup's yesterday too)?

I noticed that when breaking through key levels today the buys were 'AT's and the sells were mainly 'O's. I have to admit I did take 30% off the table (at £10.10 - I misjudged the pullback!) but that was due to reaching my maximum concentration risk level.

Well done for taking profits. However, the fact that this has climbed all day makes me think there is huge institutional demand and the buying is not finished. That is a very bullish candle in my book.
