A is usually for Automatic and U for Uncrossed trade, but that might not be the case for what you're viewing.

Sometime in the cases of little-traded stocks, it can be impossible to get an online price, for even the smallest amounts.

However,in such instances, putting in a sensibly priced limit order often produce almost instantaneous (good) results.
