12/6/2021 20:31 | Strange the Reporter has not published that article , unless I missed of course | you for coffee
12/6/2021 19:41 | Can't wait for next week good or bed I'll still can't wait richer or poorer, we shall see thank you estseon for your calculations and your knowledge you are a genuine scholar in kefi. | 1deedee
12/6/2021 12:53 | Thanks Estseon. I had expected to see something explicit in the resolutions and wondered if I was missing something. | bluesbeater
12/6/2021 09:52 | bluesbeater I can only guess. There is a resolution to empower the directors to issue new shares for cash up to 10%of the current issued share capital. That is a standard resolution. It will enable Kefi to fund overhead, fund its ongoing commitments to the JV in Saudi and fund exploration in Ethiopia to the extent that KME does not receive any repayment of the remaining uncapitalised loans to TKGM. Ditto Kefi's loans to TKGM - if hard currency is not available, the money may be loaned to KME to fund local exploration - we have yet to be advised by the company. The relevance to the syndicate is that it may be a condition precedent that Kefi ensures its own ability to operate during the construction period. Voting against that resolution at this time is not a particularly good idea. I have already proxied votes for it. | estseon
12/6/2021 09:13 | I can't find the English version of that article in the Ethiopian reporter that was due to be released today. Could someone please send the link if they find it ? Thanks. | donegal1997
11/6/2021 22:08 | Thanks Belfast that's useful to know. Might see you at the AGM. | bluesbeater
11/6/2021 20:02 | Hi BB,Well we don't exactly know the detailed requirements for the signing off of the full financial package but with the senior lenders and others it wouldn't surprise me if as example sign off of the audited 2020 Kefi Plc accounts was a precondition, cash flow forecasts, all debt and equity positions etc...also As part of the final deal Kefi Plc may have to provide a further equity contribution which requires further share issuance and the directors need authority to issue approved at the AGM... | belfastboyo
11/6/2021 18:46 | estseon I don't quite understand the significance of the AGM as the necessary milestone to funding. Can you explain it? | bluesbeater
11/6/2021 18:23 | Think the advert is from last year unless they are readvertising it. | robjm66
11/6/2021 17:43 | Good weekend to all of the faithful. Hopefully, only two more weeks of this torment to go. | estseon

11/6/2021 14:02 | The sp's shown some strength into the back end of the week. Hopefully some good, positive, progress next week. Until then, have a good weekend all | rich1e
11/6/2021 13:05 | Except the timescale makes it questionable as to whether it can be ratified at an AGM. | pensionplanner
11/6/2021 11:39 | Surprised there's not been another RNS after the article, as they were made aware of it. | pensionplanner
11/6/2021 11:17 | It seems to me that his supporters are saying that he deserves the credit for the club winning everything under the new manager... If people made profits at EMED after 10 years and no dilutions and no consolidation of 17:1 and after Harry had been replaced by a new manager, that is great, but is history in danger of repeating itself at Kefi? I'll be happy if we can repeat here, it still has a chance and is why we hang about. I have waited years for a paltry 5p having waited years longer for 1.3p old money (now 22p and probably 28p when the next lot of shares are issued). Topicel | topicel
11/6/2021 10:11 | Harry may have put a lot of the legwork in at EMED but ultimately he couldn't get it over the line! Let's hope he does better here. | bradley12
11/6/2021 10:02 | Agreed, me too! | shortarm
11/6/2021 09:41 | I don't know tops. I made a very healthy profit off of EMED and I put most of that down to Harry. | riotinted_specs
11/6/2021 09:40 | Topicel, As you wish. You are entitled to your opinion, I to mine. Personally, I am very happy with the progress of my investments, and I play them all the same way. I am well into profit over the years. As you know, EMED/ATYM got there in the end, though not through Harry of course. As I said to Taxi, there is no certainty in any of my investments, but they are my choice, and I play them my way. There is no advice element in my postings. I just voice my opinions and my reasons. People can make of it what they will. | scrappycat
11/6/2021 09:02 | taxloss Have you read the Finance Director's review in the published 2020 accounts signed off by the auditors exactly one week ago? You simply cannot say that all of the optimistic talk is from HAA. | estseon
11/6/2021 07:46 | if the company does not find the required project finance...unless the company that received the warning has not taken remedial action within the stipulated time frame or has given the licensee a valid reason for the incident. Well Kefi should have “found” project finance by then can certainly argue remedial action and multiple reasons for delays. Article might make more sense if when English version comes out. | robjm66 |
