Well the first leg of this current saga went on for months, but upon the EG producing the yellow card, quickly went from delay to being fully detailed, to the EG for ok'ing and back to where it was. If we knew this next leg would be as easily resolved we could make a few quid

Nice try, young lady. If they respond to your question I will eat my hat, eat my underpants & go to the foot of our stairs. Basically I will be amazed.
You need to ask a more acceptable question like after all these months of hard work, why does Harry not take a paid holiday which us grateful shareholders would surely not begrudge him. No rush with the funding. :-)

There's also the issue of funding at Kefi level, which has been expected for a few months. So whoever is tiding them over must be reasonably confident that things aren't too far off.

I think the mostly likely delay is the foreign investors whoever they are. That article last week if it wasn't BS, suggests that EG are ready to go so can only imagine it is them holding it up ?

I expect that you could more easily donate blood than sell any of your shares.

We have little option but to assume that the lack of any announcement indicates that the closing procedures are continuing at their normal glacial pace.

Decision-making in Africa is a painful process.

There is nothing that HAA can do to speed it up.

There is no reason why HAA would want to slow the process. They want to get on with exploration and development of the other licence areas reserved for the company.

By maintaining my holding I am betting on progress before that. Even if I was being cynical the first part of the bonus scheme is linked to not only having finance in place but receipt of the first 20 million dollars.

On a practical level kefi will not be able to hold out updating the market on progress indefinitely and probably would have already unless they were holding out for a bit of positive news (imho).

Just hope news drops on TK before any news on Hawiah.

Last operational update 21st June so 2 months ago youd expect some sort of update very soon with finance and saudi with 24 hr drilling going on

I've never seen a company treat shareholders with contempt like this one does. It is unbelievable how many times they've done it. They either have absolutely no idea what they're doing, or they're liars. There is no third option I'm afraid.

Ethiopia is a total basket case, that much is also clear.
