Know kaz quite a long time. They pulled off their mining in kazakstan, despite the odds. I would say they can do the same in Russia. The know how to do business in this region, work with Russians, probably get equipment supplied from the Russians/Chinese.

Doubt they'll change us unseen shenanigans no doubt invovled. KAZ see iot as step to another level on development. Loans in boomimng Cu market likely to be easy and big people in the company being taken over.

5.5 billion USD needed for capex. How are they going to fund that? Of course they might yet change their mind and the price will quickly reverse.

Suspect russians will loan them and I doubt the feared rights issue will emerge but time will tell.

The new project would appear to have payback of c.5 years, assuming $7k for Cu, and $1.2k for Au.Then there's the residual 20 years, less costs... Seems reasonable to me. Of course, DYOR, etc...

Think of it this way kitty cats.

$5.5bn+ of FUTURE profits that could have been diverted towards shareholders in the form of dividends.

Now why should my little cats go without pressies for so long?

Didn’t look at the market yesterday... wow.
Sold these in Jan/Feb @ £9.46. Thought I might have been wrong to do so when they regained the £10 mark. Bloody glad I did now.

mount teide ,
I could not agree more about Putin and hard to believe that quite a lot of these
brexiteers on the ADVFN thread under "UKIP" do NOT despise this evil man and may
even like him. When markets quiet I post on that site having a go at the Putin admirers but can not sway them . One called SPAWNY100 actually has a Russian wife but
no doubt she is in the 70% "sheep" who voted for Putin,. I have 2 Russian friends who talk about his "contract" killings . have a good weekend .
No wonder Putin likes the brexiteers and so does illinformed Trump ! ) smile )
