with higher copper price overnight I thought KAZ would perform today and almost bought soon after opening ! So disappointing so far but copper does look like it is bottoming in 272 to 278 range .

KAZ holding up well today as copper price falls again.maybe not a bad omen and suggests it us trting to turn northwards .

If you look at Kaz history, it has on the last two occasions filled the GAP and turned upwards, and could this be third time (LUCKY) situation. There is a GAP at 768.5p and we are not far from there.

The starting date to go back all the way to £10 will be 26th of July exactly - on Q2 production report. No wonder why "lossess" is losing all the time.

with the nice bounce in copper price overnight , KAZ should open strongly at least .

Strong rebound for all Asian markets last night, particularly China rose over 2.5%, Hang Seng 1.3%, Nikei 1.15%. This should affect positively Europe.

pointless comment as crazy to set a target buy level on a mininbg stock as who knows what copper price might be when it hits 70 , 600 , 500 level or whatever . It is hard enough to forecast where it will be in a week,.

fair enough and a different ball game now- I rarely look at the fundamentals as use
charts to trade or occasionally to take a position. Copper price still creeping up after that big tumble .

Turnover was lower at that time - 2 years ago - Then if you compare today's PE ratios, KAZ is the cheapest with GLEN (around 10.) while the others are above 15 - 16.
So to reflect the comparisons in the same sector, share price should be at least £10. Adding to that is KAZ is well managed, the backbone of the Kazakhstan economy and is located in a safe geographical area compared to some. I am definitely a buyer at these levels below £8 as it has at least £2 to add to the share price

For infos, at the end of 2015 - early 2016, turnover was 665 millions while at the end of 2017, it was 1.66 billion - almost tripled. So for 2018, it will be definitely over 2 billion. Also, as KAZ issued less shares than the others, the share price would rise faster in any recovery. I can see £10 in a short time.

actually KAZ was trading at about £3.80 in late November 2016 according to the IG graph ?
