Andy it was a private placing so shareholders weren’t included. By doing a private placing, at 2p in this instance, it saves on admin fees for various reasons.

Katoro is currently in the processes of compiling a comprehensive funding package in accordance with the Blyvoor Joint Venture ("the JV") that will allow the construction, commissioning and operation of a mining and processing facility capable of processing 500,000 tonnes of tailings material per month, at an average Life of Mine ("LoM") gold grade of 0.29 g/t and confirmed recovery of 51%, before incorporating recovery gains from the latest metallurgical optimization tests.

Lets not forget, funding will be based on quotes received for the supply, construction and commissioning of the plant. Therefore these have to be in place before any funding can be agreed.

They will want to get the cheapest and most cost effective quote before deciding on a contractor.

This explains the price drop from 2.50 to 0.80 however who has been offered those shares at 1p?? This was not available for us lot as I couldn’t have missed that? Shouldn’t that have been available to all shareholders including private investors?

My guess is that this is the catalyst to get funds raised, if the market gets wind of a deal being done price will rise accordingly.

Lets hope it gets to the magic 3p by the time they want to get money for Blyvoor.

Can someone check my figures

They are planning on 500,000 tonnes per month production at a recovery rate of 0.14.8g/t giving them 74,000 grams per month or 2380 ounces.

Which equates at todays gold price of roughly $4.3 million revenue per month less costs.

Good to see price moving up on little volume, yet to see sign that funds has been sorted although no doubt insiders will know well before us plebs.

Nomad royalty could be just one of the funders looking ad they increase credit limit on loans.

Think KAT will have to contribute some cash towards it but don’t think it will be a large amount

Not sure it’s going to read like that, gut feeling is we will probably end up retaining something like 5 to 10% of the revenue and only if we contribute to the initial funding.

On a brighter note gold price is doing its best to encourage investors with its continued rise.
