Decent article on Rhodium.. Few months old but well worth a read given how much Rhodium is flying, up another 5% today so far...

"For three years I have been preaching to all of Precious Metals industry analysts that this structural deficit on Rhodium is just getting worse and worse. The Rhodium fix since 2016 reflects that. April 1, 2016 saw Rhodium at $740/Toz. Today, August 30, 2019 it’s at $5,000/Toz. That is a whopping 6.75x increase."

It's now $7400 just 5 months later... $10,000 could be smashed in a matter of weeks

IMO, there is probably a large buy waiting in the wings, possibly institutional. Just my take on the share price action, coupled with the good news for JLP emanating from the metals market. May be wrong, of course.

GSG, One has to wonder when these auto makers are going to start looking to replace Palladium with Platinum given the rapidly increasing price disparity between the two?

I’m of the understanding that Platinum can indeed be used as an alternative to Palladium in petrol and petrol hybrid engined vehicles even though Platinum is primarily used in Diesel driven vehicles.

I’m sure any “switch” however wouldn’t necessarily be that straight forward?
