You are so very boring Aces.Conroast was shelved because of depressed PGM prices.. What we have now is much bigger than Conroast.It's possible that conroast could come back in a higher price environment.What does a baker do if it costs more to run his oven than what people will pay for his bread?

“Nothing simple about Jubilee.“ Couldn’t be simpler. They’ve covered their running costs so incremental project earnings go straight to the bottom line. Q2 is the next step-up quarter and we are half-way through.

They probably won’t have as many drags on Hernic earnings, they will definitely have a few more days of PlatCro chrome earnings, they may have a few days or weeks of PlatCro PGM earnings but that’s down to Northam, and you would expect them to reduce the DCM fine chrome losses as ramp up continues.

The probability that Q2 project earnings will be higher than Q1 are so high, I have a near zero fear of holding. Lots of things could still go wrong but the odds as so stacked in shareholders’ favour in the next few quarters, holding is a no-brainer.

How somebody who invested in BMR can be negative on JLP makes me laugh. JLP have 91% of what you invested in BMR for, Kabwe, plus it’s funded and JLP have the know-how to make it happen, unlike BMR. Then there is Hernic, DCM, PlatCro chrome, and PlatCro PGMs on top, currently profitable, with more to come.

Plats – in that case, you need to watch some Bill Hicks – sadly passed away but the material is still good.

As a follow up – I do take analysis very seriously indeed. Extrapolation is damn difficult and involves far more than Balance Sheets and P&L accounts. If I were to talk about combining non-linear terms linearly, people would want to know what I was smoking; so I don’t. Oh, and by the way, I am a non-smoker.

Adeuk

I don’t take investing in AIM companies too seriously. From that perspective, many of the comments on these boards are ‘laugh out loud’ funny. Who said life is a wave and learning is a ‘S’ curve? A bit like Scalextric; don’t leave the track when you are going around the bend!

Nothing simple about Jubilee. All smoke and mirrors in the financials

Just wait until November to find out the truth, or half of it?

LOLsss

Hi Mdalos!
Your post is so unresearched and ignorant it is actually funny.
1. Jubilee currently have 3 operations: Hernic, Dilakong (DCM) and Platcro. A 4th, Northam/Eland will come online any day now.
2. Jubilee is profitable - see recent interims.
3. Any company will quickly come to the notice of mining majors when:
a. It already has NDAs signed with 3 of them, and is already partnering with a 4th (Northam) (doh!);
b. It is making money from material that is abundant and that was previously considered worthless waste;
c. It is growing its revenue and earnings by double digit percentages (and more!) every quarter;
d. It is one of the lowest cost producers in the entire space of a particular metal.
Sometimes business is pretty simple, you know!

Plat was going to sell when the quarterlies were 2 weeks late

Now he's got patience to wait for a full year of Kabwe in the audited financials. That's about 2 years from now?
