Interesting that the other board seems to have effectively been taken over by a new group.... Gray 1 has become the ringmaster having barely ever posted before... Curious.

Worth noting also that Q1 copper revenue was $6,588/t

Freedom: "If you listen about 11:40 into the podcast Leon actually says, "currently being completed" so not yet completed.

Must be very close to being completed though".

Yes, it can't be far off! Interesting to look at the copper production 2023-24:
Q1 934t
Q2 749t
Q3 691t

Full year guidance is 3,250-4,000t. So for Q4 somewhere between 876t and 1,626t.

876t would be better than the last 2 quarters 1,626t would be off to the races time. But I think anything better than Q2 or Q3 would be a welcome start.

Cheers Pshevlin,

Looking on Stockopedia I found the info below. Would make sense given it's the 1st of the month and we have seen some improvement in volumes recently. Good news regardless.

On the London Stock Exchange, normal market size (NMS) for each security is calculated quarterly and is based on 2.5 per cent of the security's average daily turnover in the preceding year. Market makers are often prepared to quote firm prices for volumes larger than the NMS but must quote prices for volumes of at least NMS.

Interesting development on L2. Now 3 vs 1
For the last year or two there has been a mix of MM's on 75000, 100,000, 150,000.
In the good years they were all at the higher amount.
As of this morning they are all on 150,000?? Preparing for bigger volumes ahead?? Should help people get quotes more easily for higher amounts and help liquidity.
Just my thoughts....

It's all gone a bit shouty on the "other" board. I do like facts and I hope we can all stick to them on here.

You have to wonder what some consolidation around copper supply would do to the price as well. I hold AAL and read that the BHP deal would give the new BHP 10% of the worlds mined copper supply.

I’m looking forward to the update too, can see by the interest in copper, The predicted prices, and the projections here, what will happen when the announcements come. Can’t miss the chart, it looks poised For breakout.

Did I miss something or has the IRH deal run cold? Are they still painting the Zambia bound concentrator? I guess that's to be expected, since the jobs contracted in good old SA. And Roan, Leon said we can expect an update end of May, so that translates to some time around August / September. If the market updates were any slower here, we'd be going backwards.

I do hope we aren't going to be disappointed by share price reaction when Roan is finally announced.

Weird trades going through. Look at that lot of low volume 7p ones. About 38 of them I think.
It added another MM to the bid at 6.8p though so now 2 vs 1

I think you can generally buy under 6.9 at the moment so some stock to be absorbed before it can move up. That said there's decent volume out there today so hopefully won't be long. 6.9 is the mid price so pretty much everything is showing as a sell in red regardless.
