Apart from Roan, which is a minor issue, there is nothing else to bellyache about... The increase in Chrome which is printing money is great news and the small scale mining partnerships that can produce more copper than Sable can handle is (a) worth very conservatively at least $30 million/an ADDITIONAL profit and (b) exactly plays to what the government is trying to achieve by making the small operations more commercial, provide the "youths" who cause so much trouble a future in the industry and builds goodwill for further expansion for both us and by association IRH. It is a very smart political play. "This largely unexploited sector offers Jubilee the potential to rapidly deploy its modular copper processing units across a large number of current mines assisting both the sustainability of the small-scale miner as well as offering exponential growth in the refining of these copper units." For someone with so much (too much??) invested I am constantly amazed at your inflammatory response, Frog.

Read my 58636 philby, I do mention chrome. That was the only positive in an otherwise disappointing RNS.

frogkid. Of course it's a disappointing but these things happen. It is frustrating but not a disaster. Chrome going great guns too which you don't mention. I will add if the share price slips too far.

Sadly I can see this back to or below the mid 6's. It is short-sighted to sell because the story is compelling. The issue is the recent rise was likely all around the Roan launch in April and now that isn't happening.
It's another chance to buy cheaper for anyone with spare cash but I'm not one of them.
Also I don't know why he hasn't increased guidance on Chrome - they should smash that target now (Probably wants to say they significantly exceeded target at year end)

And let's be honest, apart from chrome, who is happy with this update?

I think you are really looking for anything to trash the share price today froggers. Not very useful. You need to look at the overall picture.

I think building out the supply chain around Roan is very positive. Even if it was ready to run now we would still have had to go through materials sourcing therefore the delay is minor. Ultimately by the June quarter we should have the whole thing up and running with throughput rather than just capacity.

Whereas I think we are lurching from one thing to another. What happened to the silicon leaching? Another project brushed under the carpet. There will be an exodus today.

Even if the irh deal completely fell through ( very unlikely) they are building enough copper resource to make a big difference to the bottom line. I get the feeling they are hedging against being dependent on the Arabs.

But we were told end of April a few weeks ago. The market simply does not trust what is announced. I don't believe it will be running by end of May and we are in danger of missing Cu targets for FU24. I am disappointed with this update. We will get slammed today I reckon.

Yes it will probably slip back now but hopefully holders see the bigger picture. Chrome is flying and Copper is close, just not as close as it was. Disappointed to see another delay but if you’re an investor here it’s not worth dipping out for the sake of a few weeks.
Very frustrating again though.
Agree the mention of more small scale miners was good but added to soften the blow - no meat on the bones yet.
I’m glad the q3 numbers are out - they were always going to be low for copper. They have finally had to reduce the guidance for this year. Still be way over LY though.

I doubt they had any control over delay to electrical equipment froggers. Unfortunate but not catastrophic. End of May we shall see.
