Copper flirting with $5 a pound.

Just in time for Roan to start ramping up production - great timing by Leon - LOL

Just need confirmation now.

Compare the cost and time of opening a new mine in order to produce what JLP will be able to produce in the next years and that gives an idea of what it is worth.... and it is far more than 30p!

I'm with you TB. 50p for a buy out and they'd be getting a great business that would pay them back in multiples.

Anyway, back to the here and now; Lots going on in the markets at the moment. Wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of volatility and volume bouncing about this afternoon once the US opens so maybe we'll see some of the action. We need some volume - pitiful at the moment.

Only thing they upping is the delivery time to ramp up their current "jam tomorrow" Excellent execution on the site visit to a closed site. Couldn't make this sh1t up if you gave it your best shot. No worries, plenty trading opportunities, while they kick the can down the road. Like the chorus over on the happy, clappy board, is chanting, going to the moon in 2025 lol.

Maybe for you froggers but not enough cash for me and I'd immediately have to pay tax on the lot of it. No thanks. Besides which we could easily be at 30p next year without a bid. Twice that maybe I could be swayed.

We don't want copper going too high otherwise will bring a load of supply back online. This could easily have a 2p dividend two years out

WYK, I expect to see it working on the 31st of May, hopefully before. I remain ready to be disappointed!

Frog, the update said "commissioning" by the end of May. You've put "fully up and running". I'm sure you know that those are two different things. I would expect commissioning to be relatively limited as its an upgrade but if they start commissioning on 31st May it probably won't be fully up and running at the end of that day. If it does roll over into June however it might be a struggle to hit the latest cu guidance for FY 2023-24! Like others on here though, is the current year ends up a bit flat I won't mind as 2024-25 is going to be mega!
