It has been obvious for many weeks now that a company has been offloading as adejuk has pointed out many times and another company is buying the shares. Leon did say over a year ago that any large transaction of shares would always be carried out in a controlled way by their broker.

So far today only four matching trades, so not that much sold and the last matching trade of 117,446 shares which is a odd small number makes me wonder IF! that's the final trade but seems strange why the broker would put the trades thru that way.

Will be interesting to see if any large trades go thru by 6pm if none do then lets hope today was the last day.

sb. It does look like a controlled sell as someone seems to be picking up these big numbers. If they hadn't been we would not have been as steady as even this. MMs aren't going to hold the stock if they think they can't shift it at these prices.

no sb
tr's are voluntary
the only sanction is discipline from the company, not the fsa
and if it is acam, jlp has already said they look forward to further involvement with acam so they are unlikely to take action agaist them.

sb. No one's having a pop at JLP, so there's no need to be defensive on every comment. Just saying that a couple of other companies in the sector have turned positive.

Also the copper price has bounced off a 20 month low this morning which is also slightly positive.

But look at how much they fell recently....THS down by 35% from a few weeks ago. If people here really believe there is a single big seller of JLP then it is unlikley many will buy because they think the price will continue to be under pressure. I would like someone to prove to me that there IS a single seller, ie ACAM... otherwise everyone is labouring under an illusion. If they had sold as much as has been suggested then there would have had to have been a RNS for a change in their position size.

The new facilities are coming on stream but we will see significant increases in costs due to transport costs.

Over a 12 to 24 month period JLP will develop into an increasingly good investment, but I suspect the next update won't be half as good as we might want/expect.

Still some patience needed

I am not expecting spectacular figures in the update because of the fall in the basket price, however I will be expecting improved margins now that we process pgms in house. What really excites me is the progress in cobalt which so far has not been valued in by the market.

All to do with swapping shares for debt, that plus the commodity price falls Probably annoyed ACAM as well as the thought they could get an even bigger undeserved profit.

To think I was vilified for mentioning 13s a few months back. I've started buying again buy we are at the mercy of the general market, commodity prices.

with copper being tipped to be in such short supply, you would think that it would be snapped up at these prices.
