Regarding flat share price .I think investors are waiting for news before committing further funds, with obvious exceptions like us. The fear as always is delays to production or lower than expected production which will see us marked down. So for a while now the only driver for the share price has been price of metals. We just need news.

folks, any ideas on why the price movement has been so very flat in recent weeks, neither up or down really. I'm not bothered, but it just seems something is brewing to me. There have been some very chunky trades in recent weeks too, appearing as sells when they are buys imo. I'm certain its the II's swapping about in the background. We MUST be due an overall OPs update very soon imo, so much going on and commodity prices are sky high. interesting times ahead

Yes £1.76 billion valuation for a company producing £135 million profits is realistic and I think the board will deliver on its plans.

Ade...I think 40p is very possible if f/y result beat expectations of £60 million. The biggest thing the market will look for in JLP is the ability to deliver on its plans for growth. Our current plans will see us to £135 million profits per year if we delivered as planned. So we could be looking around 80p per share on a p/e of 15.

Since Cantors departure as a JLP mm, WH Ireland are the only big beast and are bossing it. They have been sat alone on the offer for a couple of weeks. So just waiting for them to move. They were previously alone in supporting the bid for a couple of weeks so they must have accumulated a decent amount of stock. They may throw in a couple of head fakes before they move properly from the offer to the bid. L2 2v1

Re £1 per share, with planned opps including Pgms and copper at full tilt and a p/e of 15 we won't be generating enough of a profit to support a share price of £1. The only scenario where that could be a possibility is either a JV on Tjate or setting up additional processing operations or after a massive share buyback.. I would love to see £1 per share but the maths don't add up.

Zak’s chart suggests a comfortable move to 30p by end of April and that’s without results or other news coming through. Incidentally all the 16.40p+ trades are buys!

FT article on Mining in Zambia. Can not post the full article as the FT are strong on copyrights. Interesting for context, as it makes Jubilee's potential 25k t pa copper production look significant. The Zambian government effectively paid $1.5bn for 41k pa of existing copper production at Mopani. Zambia’s state miner on lookout for deals ZCCM aims to take ‘strategicR17; stakes and operate assets The article states that Mopani produced 41k of copper last year, however they are looking to boost this to 160k pa via expansion in three phases, which will include processing third party ore.

jackthecat1. In a couple years JLP should have an share price over £1.00. Hopefully no buy out and JLP can just grow organically. The potential here is phenomenal going by the figures/breakdown costs/increasing prices of metals etc etc. I’m holding till mid 2023.

I'd take 50p for mine!.But it would give me more pleasure to see JLP grow into a large Mid Cap over the next few years + some dividends etc.Its out of our hands i'm affraid. I have noticed that a few of the small caps Slater Investments have been in end up being taken over. I can see Slater saw that potential with JLP imo. Maybe not for a year or two.
