GFN, should have half year details & jan/feb commentary before April so going to be touch & go for getting to the new tax year under 20p. Stack of news backing up if the last year of webcasts are to be believed.

In two minds here, would absolutely love the update because I’m sure it’s going to blow the doors off, however, currently have some in my trading account and want them in my ISA so flat until 1st week of April would be good!

Yes a solid plateau developing..we have the half year results in a few weeks, I am hoping for a decent operations update to be included. We are priced purely on fundamentals at the moment with no premium for future growth. So we really need news flow for the share price to reflect our progress..

ESG news anyone come on auditor. Major pension funds that own assets worth £870bn, including those of the Church of England, Lloyds Banking Group and the National Grid, have committed to cutting the carbon emissions of their portfolios to net zero by 2050 or earlier, in another sign of big investors’ increasing focus on the climate crisis. Pension providers Scottish Widows, Royal London and Nest and a clutch of public sector pension funds from the UK to Scandinavia and New York were also among the investors that have pledged to align their portfolios to the Paris climate goals of limiting global temperature increases to 1.5C. The pledges were coordinated by the London-based Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change as it launched a set of tools that lays out how investors can achieve net zero portfolios following months of work. The United Nations and the UK government backed the scheme, which is also being adopted by leading investor climate action groups in North America, Asia and Australasia. In a written foreword, Prince Charles said he hoped large investors would publish detailed plans for net zero. Increased focus on the climate crisis from clients and governments has forced investors to confront the carbon emissions of the companies that they fund. Some investment leaders have already promised to aim for net zero emissions, including a December pledge by some of the world’s largest asset managers such as Legal and General Investment Management and UBS Asset Management.

The pilot’s second phase will include testing copper products on more train cars and buses; testing over a longer amount of time to analyze varied conditions; focused tests on the products that were most effective in our transit environment and public engagement to measure copper’s impact on customer confidence. TransLink was the first transit agency in North America to test copper on transit surfaces. The pilot was launched as part of TransLink’s covid-19 response through the Safe Operating Action Plan because of preceding studies showing that copper is both durable and effective at killing bacteria. The two products that performed best in a transit environment are the copper decals and the copper-nickel plasma sprays, Teck said in media release. Copper is the only solid metal touch surface registered as a public health product by Health Canada and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, proven to naturally eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. “Through our Copper & Health program, Teck has been working with healthcare professionals, academia and others to help make communities safer with copper,” Don Lindsay, Teck CEO said. “We look forward to continuing to work with TransLink and all the partners and working to expand the use of copper on public high-touch surfaces to protect human health

Results from TransLink’s trial on British Columbia transit show that copper is effective at killing bacteria on high-touch transit surfaces. Based on sample-testing performed on transit and in a lab, the trial concludes that select copper products on transit are durable and kill up to 99.9% of all bacteria within one hour of the bacteria’s contact with the surface. Phase one of the pilot began in November 2020 and lasted five weeks on two buses and two SkyTrain cars. A second phase will be launched in the coming months to verify the results with a larger sample of data. The pilot is the result of a partnership between TransLink, Teck Resources, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), the University of British Columbia (UBC), and the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation. The initial phase was fully funded by Teck, as part of its Copper & Health program. The second phase will also be supported by Teck. Tests were conducted using surface cultures and ATP bioluminescent testing on samples taken from transit surfaces. Throughout the first phase of the trial, more than 1,140 samples were collected and analyzed.

We have movement at last on level 2 with Winterflood and Berenberg jumping over to the bid at 15.9 and the ask has now ticked up to 16.40. Glad I added yesterday and another tranche this morning. Consolidation period now over and it looks like the next leg up has commenced.
