15/8/2020 08:04 | . . Lead, Zinc, Vanadium, Cobalt possibly silver. versus Copper. This is turning into a 30 year project. Have you never heard of "cyclical commodity demand", PH ? . . | bullster
15/8/2020 07:50 | Oh yea posting about 10k copper and 400k cobalt is really deramping.Have more than 75k you nobheads... Obviously i beat you to it you bellend | plat hunter
15/8/2020 07:42 | . . PH, Stop spreading your stupid theories about Kabwe. The Waelz Kiln Slag only equates to 15% of the total tonnage of the Kabwe dump. It accounts for 40,189 tonnes of contained zinc and 16,794 tonnes of contained lead. Sure, this asset may have had been written down by 90% to £201,000 in the accounts for the year ended 30 June 2014 due to the product being brittle and hard, of too low a grade and too difficult to process on a commercial basis. Sure, although the different chemical and mineralogical compositions of Waelz slag , which has a dust like composition, when compared to traditional clays, previous experiments have demonstrated its potential use as a clay substitute in ceramic processes. But trying to sell it into the ceramics industry, rather than extracting the zinc and lead, was only a consideration because buying-in the acid to leech such a low grade material was uneconomical. It's a pity they didn't have their own acid plant. Stop fearmongering PH, just because you sold your miserly 75k of shares. . . | bullster

14/8/2020 20:24 | 4.5million quid for 6.2 million tonnes....Did you see how much we paid for 3 years feed of windsor or how much we paid for 150 million tonnes of copper tailings? The copper btw is an old BMR dealing, coincidence? If you want to write to BMR in south africa btw, it's the same address as JLP. | plat hunter
14/8/2020 20:12 | You sold 75K Plat. We all have our own plans but i only buy and hold for the end game. Often wish I could press the sell button and buy back in on the drop but likely wouldn't. I am looking ahead and see only a rising share price unless that is we have a big market crash again, but if that happens, I will be adding more and more at anything sub 3p. | the bull
14/8/2020 16:31 | Were they thinking of using it as a building material? Thought that's what I remember. | 1madmarky
14/8/2020 16:15 | What do we make of this then :-P Mon, 5th Oct 2015 09:02 (ShareCast News) - Zambia-focused mineral processing business BMR Mining said it has identified a potential market for its Waelz Kiln Slag (WKS) assets. The assets at Kabwe, Zambia, had been written down by 90% to £201,000 in the accounts for the year ended 30 June 2014 due to the product being brittle and hard, of too low a grade and too difficult to process on a commercial basis. | plat hunter
14/8/2020 14:47 | I've just sold another 75k... That's me now, i'll leave the rest | plat hunter
