alpal.

If you go on to the last Amplats half year presentation or Implats for that matter they have so much PGM market information in great detail and clear charts showing trends, you'll be busy for hours.

Supply and demand will drive price .... edited ... used in catalytic converters so move to electric vehicles might reduce demand but interesting article :

During his visit at the United Nations, Shinzo Abe, Japan’s Prime Minister, mentioned Japan’s policy toward the next generation vehicle. He said the government hoped to use 100% renewable energy to create hydrogen in Fukushima. He also stated that the government would make a strong effort to promote FCV as a first choice after the current gasoline and diesel engines. An FCV uses almost 10 times more platinum within a catalyst than a diesel engine.

Info please: Trying to look at the larger picture, who is buying the platinum, palladium, rhodium at [mainly] increasing prices? I thought they mainly went into the auto industry but that seems to be in a bad way.

All took a pasting today . My thoughts are precious metals price was pumped up and as soon as risk on came back into play the dump happened . Can see this reversing as the pump goes into risk on shares only to fade away after the sheep have gone back in and then when the financials start coming through and dividends are cancelled or cut then back we go to risk off / maybe even another crash ... and so on and so forth ... with the markets performing lots of trades on fear and favour . Load of old nonsense really which is why I try to back up my choice of shares with Solid fundamentals ... which JLP are pulling together quite nicely . Let’s hope for no ef ups and decent RNS in the next few weeks .

No problem joe, that's why Jubilee changed it's name from Jubilee Platinum to Jubilee Metals Group, as the company produces a variety of PGM's now.

Apologies guys, I always thought it was primarily the platinum. Have bought and sold JLP a number of times over the last 15 years at considerable loss bought back in this week
