Agree tintin,if you look at Sylvania Platinum that made 32 million $ earnings/profit on 26575 oz(6e) for the first Q of 2020 you looking at about 1200$ profit per oz for Q1. Sylvania also has a much higher operating cost per oz than Jubilee so profit per oz will be much higher, especially at inyoni/hernic.

HI Tintin - quite possibly - that would be nice. Also I should edit my previous post in that I think there is a revenue share for the Windsor PGM - so that may reduce the gross profit somewhat (maybe by 2 or 3 million?). Still potentially amazing numbers for the half we are in and potentially even better numbers for the next half (no lockdown and increased production from new projects). The biggest risk is of course that commodity prices collapse - but that is why this won't be the only share I own - I will have a couple of other counter cyclical shares to protect against economic downside. This is one of the best bets if there is no collapse in commodity prices in my opinion.

Average gross profit for the first three months of the year would have been well in excess of your '$700' figure, look at the BBI numbers.

HI Tim, I am a relative newbie here but having looked at all the RNSs I reached different conclusions - happy for you to point out where I'm going wrong. I see that the life of the tailings at Windsor is currently 2 years (1.45 million tonnes of tailings, being processed at a rate of 60,000 tonnes per month) however there are more tailings being added all the time - so there will be work to do after the 2 years. But then there is Inyoni - here there is much more than 2 years' of tailings ( 1.7 million tonnes of tailings plus 630,000 tonnes of previously processed tailings plus 1 million tonnes of PGM rich material - to be processed at a rate of 55,000 tonnes per month.)IN addition Kabwe will be processing metal from other parties. Also in terms of profit for the half year about to end in June, I presume production of PGM alone has been 24,000 oz (4 months production as 2 months out of 6 were in lockdown, rate of production 6,000oz per month - with gross profit per oz approximately $700 ie $17 million gross profit and then add to that the profit from chrome and copper production. Please feel free to point out my mistakes as I am relatively new to this share.

Frogkid,
Look ahead 10 years and assume the cost of developing Tjate is 600m and that it comes on stream in 2030 and your dcf runs for 20years from now with a discount factor of 8% (seems to be the most commonly used discount factor these days). For the next 10 years there are going to be quite a lot of expenses in maintaining the rights and providing the social benefits required. At the very front end, there is the cost of the acquisition of the Tjate portion of ownership. The result is that Tjate has no value at the moment.
The other methods of arriving at the MC are x times book, x times revenue, and DCF to arrive at a net present value. Any of these valuations arrive at pretty much the same figure at the moment.
Only when this years figures are properly established and with a reasonably clear view of the year to 03/6/2021 will a new figure for MC be established. Then the problem will arise as to the life of those profits given that the current PGM stream has maybe another 2 years which is why we need a purchase of maybe 40m soon to come on stream in ealr 2022.

Ask Colin if he can donate money towards counseling for some of his long long term suffering shareholders. Some people here really need some help.

He is not the first and probably will not be the last.

4p possible this week, after today's show of strength in a weak market.
