Deme1, I sold a fraction last week (465,000) with a view to buying 500k back.

It’s a gamble but nothing ventured......

The 2.9p to 6p prediction may either trigger fear or excitement. Of course, there is an alternative interpretation – it’s all nonsense.

I have a sneaky suspicion Losta has been trading his JLP shares.

If we hold here then we’re off to 6p, if not then possibly back to 2.9p according to Zak.

Limit order in place.

Pal going good
Plat back up to where it was pre shake from Friday

As I have mentioned before, there seems to be a little manipulation with the prices of pal and plat. There has been a few occasions now when the price had been hammered only to bounce back (sometimes in the same session).

Still think we need news to progress from here, would be just as happy to hold this price with a flat week. Could possibly see a little drop.

Wish we will see 10p soon. 4p is still a bargain.

One theme reiterated was the employment of locals. Something JLP prides itself on.

Leon wouldn't take up any of the 600million placing. That's a fact.

JLP certainly can't invest 600 million without a huge placing but who would take that up?Can't help but think that something is going to go down there though, there's just too many coincidences for the research team to be based in Kitwe by pure chance alone

If you mean the old Mufulira tailings dam at Mopani, it could be one of the contenders.

However I believe China Non Ferrous China Nonferrous Metals Co. Ltd. and Zambia Copper Mines Investment Holdings signed an agreement to extract copper from mine waste in 2010 and promised to invest $600m

If they have not come up with the goods maybe it will give Jubilee an opportunity, however I can't see the Zambian government booting out the Chinese given the level of indebtedness to China. Maybe they could cut a deal.

From memory Mufulira has a copper resource of around 90m tonnes, however I can't remember the grade.

Anyone else see a deal coming out of Mopani?"The ministry said MCM must deliver a "detailed plan" on how it intends to proceed in the 90-day period and "possibly" beyond, adding that MCM would defer some non-production activities and cut capital expenditure in order to unlock cashflow."Https://www.google.com/amp/s/africanminingmarket.com/glencore-to-reopen-zambia-copper-mines-pending-agreement-with-government/6474/amp/
