Haha, it was obvious there would be a decent delayed trade at the end of the day. Good volume again.

All the wretched, rampers are crawling out of the woodwork over here. Panic mode setting in over on Platt/Undiies thread. Lost its lustre now that the rational folks have been booted. Long time Dan, all OK? Crossing over to the dark side, I see. Plat, so that mighty pot of yours is worth less than 200 thou. Still hacking around in the minors, are we? With all that big talk I figured you'd actually created some real wealth during that miserable existence of yours. Mr 4p resistance point. LOL

Trading so far

The earlier buys at 3.5475p then 3.54p and now 3.53p

Unless there is a large sell to be reported later, the buys are yet in control and only 1 MM that got a couple of sells @ 3.475p did get the offer cheaper and now narrows the spread

Not sure about 4k per oz Plat, there's presumably been a few mines constructed in the last couple of years in the face of the bull market for PGMs - beyond my knowledge though. The point being that the basket price has never been near that figure in recent years so if there are new mining operations out there, presumably they are operating profitably at todays market prices. Be good to get some information on that and to find out if any new deep mines are now on the go.

it would be good to see some volume - 40/70 mill a day and then we'd know we're off.
at some point a consolidation will be nec.

No one would be interested in that deal Betty, you'd need basket prices at 4k for that I think. To recover only 9 times the capex over the lifetime of a mine, before operating costs is actually quite terrible.Like I said a track record and 100 million a year, paints a different proposition for them

Def agree with the amount of cash generated by the 1st and 2nd tier PGM miners. It is unprecedented.
