The likes of Losta have been claiming to be topping up since the "bargain buy" opportunities around 4.5p. share price value never to be repeated, and all that. There will be very few JLP holders who are currently in the black and a number of our pig headed friends will be nursing some serious losses. Can't say they weren't warned. Yet they continue to try and convince themselves and any unsuspecting seal pups, of JLPs enormous, current profitability. Spewing out an endless supply of conjured up project scenarios and projections of fantastical figures and resultant profits.Doesn't seem the market is particularly convinced. But then I'm told they just can't read financials and haven't quite grasped the business model. Throw CV into the mix and I'd say the only thing that is "immanent" is the impending bloodbath.

12 new cases today in England.
This is going to spiral over the next few days-weeks.

I hope some of you have some dry powder.
My £18k is burning a hole in my dealing account.

PH, Assuming that JLP achieve a similar margin to copper as they do PGM's then it's a circa 1 million usd profit a month just in copper.
Rising to 1.5 million on 600 tonnes.

===================
Good numbers on the copper to say that isn't in the business plan for jlp. Website not updated with that or cobalt production. Anyone would think that jlp were doing it to help out the Zambia govt.and prove we can recover out of tailings before getting access to other copper tailings. Imo

...to add to the facts: There was only one company in the S&P 500 that posted a positive return this week. That was Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN), +11%.

Lets look at the facts:
Dow Jones Industrial (weekly) -12.36%
Nasdaq 100 (weekly) -10.43%
US SPX 500 Index (weekly) -12.58%
UK 100 Index (weekly) -10.46%
DAX (weekly) -12.44%
...and I can go on..
It means we (globally) are in a Correction. So I asked myself:
"did I expect it?" Yes, it was all over the news for the past month and we were just waiting for a trigger.
"so what triggered it?" China, one of the biggest world economies, shut down (no iron ore, copper, plat, pal, soybeans, people, etc in, and no plastic parts, electronics, made-in-china stuff out.
"what must I do with my (jlp) shares?" Well, why did you invest in them in the first place?... fundamental growth.
"did that change?" No...did anything INSIDE jlp caused the 20% weekly drop? NO.
"So, what must I do?" Nothing, stop starring at your charts, get a GT, stop panicking, set an alert or two to buy more, change your passwords, play with grandchildren, get another GT... ffs, just wait

Edit: ...this is only my story, not advice...

I see you sold WRES to buy more here. Not a very wise decision because WRES bounced and this is still falling

The 3 month chart looks awful. 6 month chart isn't fairing well either

sub 3p looks nailed on this week

I'll let you know when its time to buy

I think krypton has a little obsession and I'm not sure that it's a healthy one either.

I've got over £10k to play with next week. Need to fill my ISA

I'll be looking for a sub 3p entry with Jubilee. 2.8 is my desired target

I decided to keep my Jubilee short going. Got a guaranteed stop loss set at 3.5

If it goes up I get stopped out and bank a profit

If it keeps falling I'm winning either way

That's how you play the markets

Welcome to the bear thread gents

When the bulls start buying you know it's time to start selling

Better to be out for now. Watching the bulls becoming more desperate is fun to watch

The virus is really taking root across the globe now.

Deaths in every country.

Interesting point to note is the photos from NASA with regards to the NO2 levels from China. They have dropped dramatically, For all those climate change activists this disease is a blessing in disguise. Just goes to show how much of a manufacturing powerhouse China is, shutting down its factories and limiting movement of people, has already had a huge positive impact on pollution levels.

For those that say this drop is overdone, just wait until the metals really react to no demand from China, coupled with other countries having to emulate China's containment plans!

3p could be a dead cert in the next week, possibly even 2.5p

Spare undies time I think.

PH, £18m pa on Copper alone!

Jubilee is ridiculously undervalued. Once the official numbers start to be RNS’d then we’ll see the hike up.

Sitting duck!

You don't appoint a second broker, if you're done with placings.Get a couple of 50 mill deals on the go with big 10x margins and we'll be good

Yep debt is always an option. Personally I think it will be a bit of all three, cash, debt and dilution.

Truth is I'm using emergency funds for a few piddly spread bets because I'm a penniless pot head. I'm balls deep in JLP.

I can't even convince anyone about a 1700 quid purchase

I could have been 10 points up on my SLP short. I saw the bear reversal on the chart and I didn't follow through.

My overall holding is back in the red along with my longs

Many ways of structuring a deal so don’t assume another placing.

Lots of money coming in now so other options available.

Jubilee are in a good place.

If JLP declared a dividend of just 10 million, that that would be yield of circa 30% at current share price Just a 1 million dividend would be a 3% yield Makes the share price look cheap, doesn't it?

Nelson- Leon has repeatedly said how difficult it is to get a placing done.... yet he still seems able to do them.
The statements from both Leon and Colin have been along the lines of... you can't keep doing little deals... it takes just as much time and energy to do a small deal as it does a big deal. So if you are to really grow you need to do a larger deal.
