i am baffled by the whining on here about the quarterlies. If anything material had changed they would RNS it. I think some of you chaps should be invested in managed funds, or the building society!

The recent increased holdings by the ii's wouldn't have happened if the company was failing to move forward. The pull back in price is extremely frustrating but I am still confident that we shall make good progress over the coming 6 months.

Anyone mind if I have a small nibble of GLR on the basis JLP may end up buying them or taking a stake?

Well the Indians think its a good deal, they are buying like crazy. Is tomorrow also a holiday in the UK, like in SA?

Edit: I am referring to gold here, not JLP...

There's more to perception and brand awareness than that Losta, you claim to hold 1% Why would you okay with something that has been a failing of the company for years?

it's almost as if there's certain individuals doing everything in their power to delay the final phase of economical cycle. I wonder if they're adding gold whilst it's so cheap?

While we wait

Not sure what the big deal is about quarterlies not being released yet!

It’s the same old trolls as per usual.

Relax, they’ll be issued when Leon is good and ready.

So long as there's demand for Palladium at these prices.. The pits will keep chucking out Platinum to add to the surplus.

This won't change until it's clear that the car industry has retooled and switched out some palladium. Which the longer this value ratio continues the more likely it will happen and I think that is in the back of peoples minds, more than it has ever been and is probably holding palladium back from going much higher.

No one will see it coming either, they'll be no gradual sings of the car industry retooling. the price action will just be immediate and it will snap northwards, eventually passing palladium as that goes in the other direction.

Check the pall and plat charts going back to 1999 and 2008 and what happened to each metal over the following 2 years. Coincidentally 99 & 08 was the last time the auto industry retooled to switch out palladium.

Cars have been getting cleaner over the last 30 years and the next upgrade is due to be bigger and currently 3 years overdue. Which coincidentally is how long we've had Trump and Brexit for. Bad for business perhaps, correlation not necessarily causation.

Got me thinking about Goebbels... Absolute genius but was on the wrong side of course.

Some of his quotes and work, are chillingly obvious and still very prevalent today.

Faith is really an absence of fear. Belief, on the other hand, is predicated upon a narrative. We all need a good story; so come on Leon, keep the troops happy. Now where did I put Eddie Bernays’ book?

IF – at least Telly Savalas made a few bob out of it. The point is there are multiple reasons for the delay in the numbers update. The speculation here is just that, ungrounded. You might as well take the info from a talking bush kangaroo. This will unravel soon enough and from what is known, it will be favourable.
