If Leon is too busy to do the quarterly reporting they may be finalising another announcement. That could be a good thing.

The numbers will do the talking. ‘Looks like the talker has developed a speech impediment – “the numbers will be su... su ... super ... super ... SUPERfluous!” Gee whiz Skippy (sixties vintage), what was that, ‘he’s fallen down a mine shaft?’ Adejuk, maybe they what to give guidance from May numbers, too?

Know that this may sound stupid but there seems to be wells coming through
And more than one person has threatened to cash in, on the other hand there was a 2 million buy yesterday and the share price is very slightly up today. Could it be that the company is holding off to flush people out as there may be another company taking a stake.
Unless the fine chrome has collapsed and does not work that is the only reason for a delay as we know jan and feb and we also know that Northampton SHOuLd start in May
All Else is known like Sable and Kabwe
Now rip me to pieces

Always- it's all about doing it on the cheap. It's not professional and hopefully as the money starts rolling in they will release the purse strings a little. Of course as G and A expenses go up I'm sure there will be crys of descention from certain quarters, but it will happen... just takes time.

Colin said at a past AGM that they were confident on getting losses from Aussie venture. Never heard any more about that.

Forgot to say or a revised date when they would be published (might stop the speculation)!

Plat, totally agree. As they’re not extensively marketing the company and letting the numbers doing the talking then numbers would be useful!

I agree Always.. It really did look as if it we'd turned a corner over the last 12 months. It seemed as if we would be getting quarterlies rather than adhoc RNS updates which I very much prefer over adhoc updates and they did well with what seemed like the 16/17th of the month being the release date for them.

It's just all very frustrating that this is such an important communication in the absence of marketing and so so very easy to do too.

Lots of anticipation and price action over the last couple of days, watch this hit 2.90 again if there's no quarterlies today

Re 11167. Unfortunately Plat, this is classic JLP operating procedure and has been for many many years. I’ve lost count of self imposed deadlines missed by Leon.

They admit at AGMs that their reporting and share holder communication needs to improve but then same old same old. The BOD then state at the same AGM that they can’t understand why the share price is so low, but I have to believe they are not so stupid and can see the correlation.

So is it that they don’t really care and are just looking at the bigger picture or do they believe that all their shareholders are stupid and can be mugged off?

I’m never ever surprised when something is late here or a deadline missed anymore. On the contrary, I’m surprised when it’s on time or ahead of stated schedule. This should not be the case and this is what the company desperately need to amend if they are to be regarded as a serious player in the field going forward.

And any other advancements in addition to BAU activities that occurred during the quarter.. being called the quarterly update they should also be mentioned in it.

We know Jan and Feb

We want to know about March and the impact FC had once running at full speed.

Bill, yes, quarterlies don’t matter in the long run but they will show progress and the share price will react accordingly? If they were irrelevant why do some of the largest companies in the world produce them (and on regular dates)!

Who really gives a sh!t about the quarterlies. They are simply just a small pieces around the edge in this jigsaw. The picture will begin to take shape over the next 12/15 months and we will look back at this time.Somae will be stating well done LTHs for hanging on I top sliced my holding at 6p. Wish I hadn't now but hindsight is a wonderful thing.Personally I have complete confidence in Leon and firmly believe that this is as he says an inflection point in JLPs existence.I will not be selling these until we are around 12/15p.GLAHs and chill our time will come IMHO I repeat this is a keeper

Sit back, relax and more importantly watch your investment multiply over the coming year or two.

Just finding people getting very wound up about the quarterlies as a bit odd? We’ve already had Jan/Feb which were poor due to load shedding so they’re only going to show March? An announcement by Northam on PlatCro is much more important? That won’t come until next month?
